Established in 1997.

The Neworldeli on Quadalupe was established in 1997.

In 1998 another was opened on Congress Avenue. After 3 years we lost our lease due to the sale of the building. Now 10 years later we opened the Neworld Café on Far West Blvd. It has a little different feel but serves up the same great soups, sandwiches, salads and will soon be serving breakfast due to numerous requests.

Dean has been involved in 3 Neworld openings. Prior to the opening of the Neworld Café he has managed for such places as Maudie’s Tex Mex, The Belmont and Uchi. Laura was working for Brinker International (or Chili’s) for 15 years, eleven of them in management. Growing tired of the corporate hoopla they decided to embark on a new adventure and that being Neworld Café. If you ask either one of them what the most important thing is about the Café they will tell you hands down the customer.“It’s all about building relationships and really getting to know the folks who are walking though the doors”. It goes far beyond just serving food. When you walk through the door at Neworld Café you can be sure of 2 things. A quality product at a fair price and customer service that is second to none.
