I am not one to write a review, but I was so pleased with the experience I felt I should. We just had our pool renovation done by New Wave Pools. Mark was very professional, he took the time to listen to my concerns about my existing pool, what I was not happy about and how to fix it. The construction was professional and done in a timely manor. I now have the pool I always dreamed of. I could not be more pleased with the work New Wave Pools has done.

I am forced to give this vendor 1 star just to post this review to WARN you DO NOT USE THIS VENDOR!!. If I could rate the sub-​contractors I would give them 5 stars. To date New Wave Pools has still not completed my project and it is now 10weeks. NWP does not oversee or manage the project nor do they take responsibility when there’s been a mistake made, worst off NWP blamed us for questioning every step. NWP made such grievous mistakes from wrong/​not current updated cad drawings to sub-​contractors, not following HOA documents provided making it difficult to get HOA approval, design changes that did not reflect the drawing submitted to HOA and worst off we had to stop work after gunite to resolve the leg room in the spa which was as little as 7″ wide. WARNING: NWP does not cover damages caused to water pipes or sprinklers during your project. When NWP was asked about the negative reviews online NWP dismissed them as unreasonable clients and the clients that wrote them NWP discredited them. We’ve found that ALL negative comments were right on and very similar to our dealings with NWP. NWP used our side yard as storage leaving excavation equipment on our property forcing contractors to dig around and under it to lay down piping. Our Outdoor kitchen is still pending and we continue to hear BS from NWP as to how sub-​contractors cannot be reached and when replacement contractors can be provided to complete our project. We are seeking assistance from BBB and the DTPA to resolve this matter. I CANNOT in good conscience recommend this vendor. IF only NWP were honest you would not be reading this review.

Mark and New Wave Pools came in and saved us after Texas Custom Pools abandoned our job.
Mark and his crew were diligent and professional. They finished on time and on budget. Have done a great job and have stood behind all they have done.

New Wave Pools completed our pool & hot tub 11 months ago, and we’ve been enjoying one or both nearly every weekend ever since! During the conceptual phase, Mark creatively came up with a design to keep our blind dog from falling into the pool, which many have since referred to as «Stunning!» After we signed the contract, the building process went smoothly, and they finished the pool 2 weeks ahead of schedule. We made a few additions to the plans once under way, and all changes were made promptly without any problems. We understood that any changes that required more materials or labor were additional, and the cost conveyed immediately. To be clear, NWP never charged us for anything additional, unless it was something we added or changed from the original contract. There were absolutely no hidden costs.
Each sub-​contractor that NWP assigned to build our pool was friendly, dependable, knowledgeable, and highly professional. The quality of workmanship truly exceeded our very high expectations. Furthermore, we have referred several people to NWP (including three friends who have since gone into contract or have had their pools completed) and we stand behind both Mark and NWP. I can’t say enough how much our family and friends love our pool and in a heartbeat we’d have Mark build another pool for us again. That said, if we were to ever have another pool built, it would be exactly the same design as the one we have now!
