Nanci is amazing! Went in for a cut, conditioning treatment and highlights from a Groupon special. I was a little nervous at first but the Unilocal reviews seemed good so I gave it a shot and I am so glad I did! I will definitely be returning to her in the future. She was super friendly, and knew exactly what I wanted done with my hair. Thanks again Nanci!

Uneven cut, I changed my review because Nancy said she got her feelings hurt. That was not my intention at all. I simply wanted to give the public an honest opinion based on my experience. I asked for my shoulder length hair to be turned into an inverted bob, it is not even on both sides, I had to trim my bangs bc they were left untectured. All in all it was a disappointing experience. I didn’t contact Nancy to complain bc the experience put me off calling back.

Groupon brought me to Nanci.
When my hairstylist moved out of town, I was devastated. I tried reputable salons but had to pay a lot. When Groupon offers this deal, I researched a little bit, but still was nervous. She called me to confirm my appointment & we discussed what I wanted done. Color, haircut, deep conditioning was Groupon. The partial highlights was additional, which was reasonably priced.
I brought photos of me with my fav hairstyles of all times (sorry Nanci, some of them were when I was 3 years younger. ok 5 years younger. lol). She is a great listener and gives advises what’s best for me. We exchanged stories which goodness 2 hours+ flew by.
Her salon is neat and private; we did not share with other hairstylists. That’s a plus.
When it was all done, I hugged her for making my hair look super healthy & shiny and close to what the photo I showed her. Yaay.
I will come back to her for sure. Maybe try a Keratin conditioning next time.

«Aren’t you loyal to a hairdresser?», my husband asked the other day. I replied, «I’m loyal to saving $ 50 – 75 per appointment.» Meaning, I go where the Groupon/​Living Social coupon takes me.
I have been burned by this habit before tho, from hairdressers that NEVER returned my calls for appts to a crazy man putting a Japanese straightener on my hair instead of a Keratin treatment. So, now, I do a little research before I hit that Groupon «Purchase» button. A lot of the salons offering these ecoupons rank around 3 stars, and it’s always a little like winning the hair lottery when one with 4 or 5 stars pops up. I can’t buy that thing fast enough!
So buying the Groupon for Nanci was a no brainer. And she didn’t let me down. She colored my hair perfectly, ie annihilated those pesky grays, and gave me a great trim. She didn’t even laugh at me when I explained why parts of my hair were burned. She just sympathized with me and said «Pomade is your friend when that cowlick grows back.» stupid cowlick :(
So, to all those ecoupon whores out there, like myself, who are doing a little research, I can vouch that Nanci is worth it and so much more (ie don’t forget to tip big!). You’ll thank me for sending you to her.

ok so I had a Groupon for a haircut, color and conditioner treatment that I bought at Groupon. There were problems when I made the appointment, which I let my Mom have as I wasn’t ready to have anything done to my hair. She had left a message on my Mom’s phone, but my Mom didn’t get the message until the day of the Appt. When we got to the place, she ended up cancelling her Dr. appt. so that my Mom could have her hair done. She was supposed to have changed the appt. to 1:00 for my mom. Anyway, we got there and she thought she had two appts, but I ended up letting her cut my hair, because I felt bad that she changed her Dr. appt. Anyway, my Mom’s hair looked really good, after coloring and have her hair trimmed. The four stars are for my Mom. I have to give her 1 Star only because she messed my hair up. It was almost shoulder length and I asked for Long in front short in back. she cut it the first time and it was all one length. Then I told her to go shorter. The back is not short enough and the sides are way off, they aren’t even… even. One side is longer then the other and there is more long hair on one side than the other. I think I would give her another chance. I just think that maybe she had an off day, because from what I hear from other Unilocalers, she’s good. But, what I got well… it’s not good!

Nanci knows what she is doing. Not only did she listen to what I wanted, she gave me helpful suggestions. I really appreciate a hair stylist who cares about her customers satisfaction. She did some subtle highlights on my dark brown hair and a cut that works well with my wavyness. I have already recommended her to a family member.

Lovely experience. I will go back. She also works on Monday.
Nanci is very experienced and she has great hours. It is really nice to get your hair done when you are in your own room rather than a salon with 8 other stylists chatting about.

I initially found Nanci on Groupon. Additionally, I read a Unilocal review that said she is good with curly hair. Finding a hairdresser that really understands how to address curly hair needs is pretty tough. I went in and could not have been happier with the experience! She tells you exactly what she is going to do and than ACTUALLY follows through. On top of that, she is very sweet and pleasant to talk to. My overall experience was great. The pricing is very reasonable as well. I am definitely on going back to see her.

I was referred to Nanci to fix a bad haircut by a chain store. My hair is super curly, and she knew exactly what to do. She was able to get me into her schedule at the last minute before a work presentation I had to give. Not only do I like my hair, but I got compliments to boot. Next time, I’ll spare myself the drama and go directly to Nanci for the right style the first time.

Nanci was professional when setting the appointment, text confirmation and was gracious about my groupon. She was friendly and talkative while doing my hair which I did not mind — it put me at ease. I hadn’t had a cut and a color in a long while and she didn’t seem like it bothered her. My hair cut and highlights came out great! Thanks Nanci!

Hairtopia! Nanci is Fabulous! Finally a stylist that listens to exactly everything you say and then delivers to a T! She gave me a gorgeous blonde with the perfect amount of low lights I requested. I was more than thrilled with the results. I have long hair and I always feel like the millimeter I tell people to take off my hair ends up being two inches but not Nancy… she took off that micro centimeter and shaped up my hair fully satisfying my longlengthorexia.
Online appointment scheduling, prompt call backs, text appointment reminders, beautiful location, reasonable prices… and her being the sweetest person is just the cherry on top!
