Unprofessional … No written estimate… changed plans several times…2 day job took 5 days. Did not bring his own drinks… did not clean up well. No final receipt. Borrowed my step ladder for 80% of the time that needed cleaning too. The wall is still uneven and he could not put back the light switch he removed… saying, «I don’t know what else do.» He said he would return and didn’t and will not answer phone calls or texts. Shameful!

This place ISN’T REAL, or at least not yet. The telephone doesn’t connect to the business, the location isn’t there, the claims on the site are NOT TRUE. They are blatantly NOT the «#1 mover in Austin.»
I don’t know where my information would go if I were to use this site, so I’m pretty happy that I called them before I signed up.

I hired Uncle Gus movers to help me with my one-​day move (there was a timeline). The day before the move, I got a voicemail that one of their movers was in an accident and the trailer was totaled; the new plan was that they would rent a UHaul and that it wouldn’t affect my move. I called back within an hour of that voicemail, then again that afternoon, then again the morning of my move. They did not show up. They did not answer the phone. In fact, I haven’t heard from them since. Even a simple explanation would have been something… instead, they chose to blow me off as a customer. So, beware — hire at your own risk! They might just leave you hanging the day of too…
