History

Established in 2013.

Over 90% of pet owners drop out of group classes because they are not seeing changes in their dog where it matters the most — at home. Mutt Manners eliminates this by getting a close look at your pets everyday behaviors in their own «den.» When a dog is dropped off for training in a kennel setting, most dogs go through an adjustment period for a few days up to a week. Mutt Manners eliminates new environment wariness and ultimately increases training time and results. Dog training is not only about teaching your dog, but also showing you how to effectively communicate with your dog.

Business Owner

Sterling Isdale has had a passion for dogs since she could say her favorite three-​letter word — «DOG.» Born and raised in Central Texas, Sterling grew up in a multiple dog house hold with Goldens, Poodles & Labs. After graduating with an advertising degree from Texas Tech, she attended Starmark Academy for Professional Dog Trainers where she studied under world renowned dog trainers Jessie Gabriel and Rob Dunn. She is certified as a Professional Canine Trainer & Animal Behaviorist and has studied all aspects of dogs. Sterling believes strengthening the relationship between owners and their dogs and bridging the communication gap are key to a life-​long fulfillment between owner and dog. She looks forward to meeting you and your furry friends and giving you both the keys to a succesfull and fulfilling relationship that is unlike any other.
