Very friendly and professional! I used Miller Imaging to get architectural plans printed for my business and they were done quickly and beautifully. A couple of times I made a mistake in what I submitted, and even though it was my fault they corrected my error on the spot and got me what I needed. Highly recommended!

Amazingly friendly service. I came here for a basic personal color printing and got a fabulous print! I’ll go here rather than deal with parking, computer time, and hassle of other print stores. Definitely keeping this place in mind for business print work.

If I could give them 10 stars out of 5 I would. In a time where online outfits are dominating the printing world, these guys stand out. They provide amazing customer service and genuinely care about what you want done. They are even more affordable than the online stores we were comparing Wedding Save the Date prices with. It’s a no-​brainer. Shop MILLER for all your printing needs. You won’t be disappointed at all.

I’ve worked with Tim at Miller Blueprint on a few art print projects through out 2 years. Let me just say, its been wonderful! He is exceptionally professional and meticulous.
He calls me directly if there are any questions and he makes suggestions that enhance the printouts. I also get the prints rather quickly and have been happy with all the results. Pricing is fair and communication is fantastic.
Overall, its been great working with Miller Blueprint, really the best customer experience I have had in Austin!!! I’ll take all my projects there for sure.

I was in a situation where I needed some images printed and a friend of mine (thankfully) suggested that I shop local and, in particular, at Miller Blueprint.
I am very glad I did because my overall experience was great. There were some minor technical difficulties but Tim was very polite and helpful the entire time. I appreciated his creative opinions when it came to printing/​cropping/​cutting the images that I had printed.
Larry and Lisa (I think those were their names) were very sweet and helpful as well.
I am very happy to have spent my time and money at Miller Blueprint. I will most definitely bring my business there in the future.

I’ve worked with Miller Blueprint’s small format team (usually Caleb) on a few occasions, and I’m always blown away by their dedication to good customer service and consistent production of perfect products. They’re a real Austin gem.

Over the past 5 years that I have lived in Austin, I’ve had a lot of printing done for me at Miller Blueprint, from wedding invitations to art prints to lookbook pages. I always come back to this place regardless of whether or not there are better prices elsewhere because the customer service is excellent, and the products are quality.
Ian (in the downstairs printing department) is incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and responsible. He’s gone above and beyond numerous times for me when I’ve brought in all kinds of crazy things for him to copy and print, including layers of fabric and tracing paper taped together. I never had a hint of a bad attitude from him no matter what I asked him to do. Something I found really funny is that for a while another guy worked with him who was, sadly, pretty terrible at his job, and Ian would rush in any time the other guy started helping me to save my project from doom. I don’t think the other guy is there anymore.
I would say I’ve only ever gotten good quality products from Miller. I was always shown proofs before approving a big printing order so I could request any changes to the colors if needed.
A couple people had negative reviews here, and I would just like to say that though Miller has perhaps made some mistakes over the years, I’m pretty certain that if you brought up your problem with them, they would make it right.

First off, we’re an established architecture firm that has moved our office to Austin. We were looking for a new printer. The first two jobs were both poor quality, poorly organized, and VERY late delivery. The staff (for the most part) was friendly except for Barbara & Ramona at the downtown location. We will be going elsewhere from now on. It’s a shame because they would have gotten a LOT of business from us.

It is tragic to see that good customer service is a thing of the past. .. except at Miller Blueprint!!! I couldn’t believe it today when I went in there looking for a display boar which they did not have, and the person I asked AND another person who was just walking by both went to GREAT lengths to help me find what I needed at OTHER businesses in Austin! They went out of their way to help me get what I needed. They called another business for me and even printed out a map to that business once we confirmed they had what I was looking for. I know these two employees were busy because I’d seen them taking care of other business when I walked in. Most places would hVe blown me off once I asked for something they didn’t have. I was blown away by the level of customer service provided by Miller Blueprint. Their downtown location has free parking on the side of the building. They have a huge selection of art, architecture, and printing materials. I will definitely go back.

These guys– particularly in the small format printing area– are extremely friendly, helpful, and prompt. They assisted us with some invitation printing and I couldn’t be happier with their prices, service, and product.

I’ve done some printing and binding here, and my experiences have been less than stellar. While the service is good, with friendly, helpful people throughout, the actual final products have been sub-​par. My prints have turned out darker than they should be, which is frustrating since you lose many essential details. Furthermore, their prices are inconsistent. Unless they recently changed their policies, I got charged for a new «set-​up» fee for a job that I had done before. On top of that, the actual job was a different price also. Distrustful may be the wrong word here, but something’s off.

Great art selection and really friendly service. I used them a LOT when I was in school and was always pleased with the service and knowledge of each and every employee.
I also loved the ease of uploading my plans to their ftp site for printing services.

I live within walking distance of a national chain that does printing and shipping, and they’ve never done me any favors. «Fed» up with the impersonal service there, I went searching for a local printer, and came across gleaming reviews of Miller Blueprint right here on Unilocal.
I phoned, expecting to spend the majority of the afternoon on hold, being juggled by a robot phone system, explaining myself over and over to each unsuspecting soul who picked up my call in turn. I was happily surprised to speak to a real, live person in downtown Austin. In fact, I spoke to three, and since they all actually communicate with one another, I never had to repeat myself! I was shocked when Lucy Miller herself took my call, considered my job, and helped me out. Wow. Mr. Kinko never made me feel that important.

Architect’s scales, engineers scales, foam core board, drawing leads, triangles, portfolios, USGS topo maps at different scales of different land masses of Texas, subivision maps, aerial photos, color scans onto canvas, small drafting boards, tape dots, electric erasers, vellum, mylar, rolls of yellow trace paper, metal straight edge, xacto knives, museum board… these are a few of my favorite things that are still available to buy at Miller Blueprint.
Miller has decided to discontinue all art supplies and is offering them at a 50% discount to get them OUTTA DA DOOR! So if you are in the market for tube watercolors and watercolor papers, colored pencils, prestretched canvas, brushes, calligraphy supplies, fabric paints, and pastels. I visited last week and bought 12 new watercolors for the cost of 2 lunches at Firebowl whereas in the past they would have cost the equivalent of a dinner at Flemings.
They do have some great moleskin sketchbooks which are also on sale.

They are Saturday from 10 am till 5 pm and 8 am to 5:30 pm Monday — Friday.

Basically, the store is divided into two buildings. The tiny one is for survey equipment and the main one is for art. Go, browse!

Drawings into t-​shirts, yes.
Today I took small India ink life drawing nudes to Miller Blueprint to make into transfers. They copied the drawings onto transfers, I arranged several on their T-​shirts and they pressed the images onto the t-​shirts for $ 15 per shirt. So, I got the transfers, the processing, and the shirts for $ 15.00 each. This is a proof of concept idea to be developed later. I was very pleased with the professional and individual service from Karla in the large copying department.
Now I’m a walking art show of myself.

This is a really great place to get art supplies from. They also stock things for engineers and cartographers.
It is a very unique place and you can have a bit of fun in here just window shopping.
Their copy service is very good, and if you need copies of blueprints or over sized maps, Miller Blueprint is a solid choice.

Miller Blueprint on 6^th Street is a fun and useful local business best suited for engineers, surveyors, architects and artists. They say it best, so I’ll let them — «Miller Blueprint has everything you need to design, duplicate, sketch, survey, paint, print and produce.» It’s true.
I like Miller because it’s small, it’s personal, it’s around the corner (6^th St.; Metric Blvd.; and an office in San Antonio), and it smells good like new paper and art supplies. My boss tells me that they’ve built quite a reputation in Austin for being a reliable business with a quality product. Based on my visits, I would agree.
I am not an artist, an engineer, or a designer. But I love to browse this store and every time I enter, I wish I had a more legitimate reason to buy their colorful markers, cool design tools, and interesting art supplies.
Miller also has TOGO maps (for builders/​developers/​real estate pros), surveying tools, and reproduction and color printing. Strangely enough, they also offer Saturday art classes for beginners. Niiice. Park in their private lot or at a street meter. Kind, patient, helpful staff.
Miller Blueprint Co. is definitely worth a visit.
