My wife’s review:
Kendall is an absolute professional in every way… business strategy, client savvy, industry/​product knowledge, realistic approach, friendly attitude, personal integrity, and outstanding results. I cannot speak highly enough of her shop and quality of service, which I decided to try through a Living Social deal. My Brazilian Blowout was reasonably quick, deeply moisturizing (surprise!) and gave me exactly the incredible results I was hoping for. Kendall herself made the appointment even more fun… she’s intelligent and easy to talk to. I’ve never been more comfortable with any stylist EVER, and completely trust her with my hair.
The keratin treatment she uses is the real deal, not a harsh ‘chemical’ straightener. I wasn’t worried about the high-​temperature process because my hair handles heat very well, but even so, Kendall was gentle with the blowdryer and easy on the flat-​iron. She did not try to up-​sell ANY products, but simply reminded me not to use any sulfate shampoos or Argan oil on my keratinized hair, as either one will strip the treatment prematurely. With this particular process, she said I could immediately wash and style my hair the same evening… no waiting period or gross ‘curing’ stage with this one! Yay!

So glad I decided to try Mayhem. I got my hair highlighted and cut, it looks amazing. I just moved to austin recently wanted to find a new place to get my hair done and I am happy to report that I have found my go to hair place! Kendall is so nice and funny! She is great! I will be back soon and would recommend her to anyone!

I just moved back to Texas from Seattle. And the frizziness of my hair was getting unbearable. I bought a Living Social for a Brazilian Blowout with Kendall at Mayhem in an act of desperation and frustration. I went to Kendall last week for the Brazilian Blowout and a haircut. My only regret is that I didn’t start getting BBs when I lived in Texas before! It is amazing! My hair is so smooth. It takes me about ¹⁄₃ of the time to style it and the frizz is totally gone.
Kendall also did a great job with my cut. She fixed the things I wasn’t liking about my hair (some intense facial framing) and kept the length I wanted to keep. On top of being a great stylist, Kendall is funny and smart as a whip. Plus, her hair is awesome, which should be on everyone’s list of criteria when selecting a stylist. I’ll definitely be back!

Amazing. I’m from NYC and have lived in LA, so I think my expectations are pretty high and Kendall surpassed them. I took a long break from highlighting my hair so was nervous, but Kendall did the best highlights I’ve ever had. They’re totally natural (what I wanted). My haircut was perfect too — Kendall listened to what I had asked for, which was to not take much length off, and she didn’t! I’m definitely really happy with my experience.

I purchased a Groupon for full highlights and a cut. Typically I am a little nervous about services purchased on there but I needed my hair done and it was a pretty good deal. Kendall called me right back to schedule and was nice and professional on the phone.
The location is adorable and very clean. I was worried about parking during Rot Rally but it wasn’t a problem. Kendall worked really quick and my hair turned out great. She really listened to what I wanted and I loved the results. I totally recommend her for anyone needing highlights.

Kendall did my hair for my wedding and she was fantastic! I would highly recommend her as a hair stylist. She is professional, seriously talented, and just fun to hang out with. She came to do my wedding hair around 8 AM, bright and early, and helped me feel calm and relaxed. She did my sister’s hair as well, which looked amazing! One thing I especially loved is that instead of using a ton of bobby pins for an updo, she used this piece of thread, and sewed the hairdo into place — something I’ve never seen before. The whole thing was a great experience!

I needed a haircut because I’ve been growing my hair long from a short cut for a few months now, and I was referred to Kendall by a friend. I’m always a little skeptical trying out new hair stylists because of bad past experiences, but Kendall was great, she made me feel comfortable right away, she was funny, and asked exactly what I was wanting done with my hair. She listened and didn’t pressure me at all.
She spent her time, using only scissors and fixing the wire-​y mess that was my hair from all the previous cuts I’ve gotten with a razor. I’d recommend her to anyone, extremely happy with my cut.
