Matthew Woodard

As a professional with 20+ years in marketing at the director level, I can personally vouch for Matt’s exceptional work. I was previously in healthcare and moved to the law industry, and one of my initiatives when I was hired by my employer was to dig into SEO, our website, and all other things internet. I discovered some things had not been done well or didn’t make sense. I found Matt, and he and I dove right into the issues. We’ve been working together for 6 months and have seen tremendous improvements in our SEO. Our issues on Analytics have been repaired, and we have an action plan to put our law firm at the top of the first page. Matt is definitely my Internet Ninja, and I’m so glad to have him on my team! I just want to add that I had made my peace with this and had accepted that some people in this world aren’t responsible, honest or able to handle their finances/​lives.
Since the second bounced check I have gotten zero communication from Matthew.
I truly wish he’d never contacted me because it feels like being stolen from all over again. To see the money in my account TWICE only to have it disappear with a $ 12 NSF fee added is beyond frustrating.
Matthew Woodard looks like a very talented designer with a successful business. I’m not sure why he can’t or won’t repay a measly $ 400. Perhaps he doesn’t want to because I haven’t been nice enough about this whole thing. That’s not an excuse. I was plenty polite the first several times he promised to repay me.
Full disclosure, I do not know Mr Woodard in any capacity other than the 30 minutes I spent with him in a meeting discussing the work I needed him to do. I’m not a disgruntled friend or even an acquaintance. I had all but forgotten about him.
I am a business owner and I can’t tell you how that makes this even more disgusting to me.

The exact same thing happened to me. This was in a few years ago in Austin and I ended up losing a long-​term client of mine because of him. It was embarrassing, and the most unprofessional project ever. We agreed upon a price and work to delivery within a reasonable deadline. I did not hear a single thing from him after that.
He does not return phone calls, emails, or any explanation as to why he completely rips people off, despite the fact that there are contracts. He will however, send me marketing emails to promote his business! I’m not sure if this is stupidity or nerve.
This is the most unprofessional and worst person to hire.
