Like everyone else, we had a truly exceptional experience working with Strüb Residential.
We’ve been living in Austin for a couple of years, but the clip that our home shopping and bidding process moved at was much more like that of someone located out of state and only able to come for a short house hunting trip. After watching friends spend months looking in Austin and making multiple offers without getting one accepted, we contacted Strüb Residential ready for a long slog. But for a variety of reasons, not the least of which being the skill of the folks at Strüb Residential, there were only 5 weeks between the day we first went out to look at houses to the day we closed on the house that was exactly what we were looking for. IMO the whole experience was a real testament to how exceptionally well they know the Austin market and how good they are at reading the needs and wants of their clients.

If I could give Strub more than 5 stars, I would! We worked with Ashley Jamieson on finding a rental when we moved here from out of state. Thanks to her diligence, integrity, and all-​around awesome-​ness, we found ourselves in a fantastic neighborhood. So good, in fact, that we decided to buy as soon as our lease was up! At the beginning of the year, we called Ashley and she got us started on the path to home ownership. We found a beautiful place to call home, right in our price range and just a few blocks from where we were renting. I cannot speak highly enough of Ashley and the Strub team. Working with Strüb has been a great experience. All I did was enter the word «realtor» on the Unilocal keyword search in Austin and the Strüb company name popped up. I typically go with the most positively reviewed team so I sent an email to Strüb and another Unilocal recommended team on March 14.
Strüb responded immediately on March 15 recommending 2 of their great agents that might fit our personality /​needs. We were buyers relocating from San Francisco, CA to Austin, TX. Out of the two profiles, we chose Cory Laurel.
Right from the get go, a curveball was already thrown into the mix; I only had a few hours each day between March 20 – 24 to view homes while I visited Austin for work. Cory was up for the challenge and very positive. We viewed 15 – 20 homes during my limited time period in Austin, that’s a lot of homes to look at in a short timeline. The other little wrench thrown in the pile was that we needed to find a place before we moved on May 23^rd. Cory got right on it and recommend the lender for us to work with. She led the entire process and managed our expectations.
The third wrench was that we had a vacation planned for 2 weeks out of the country immediately after my visit to Austin. This meant that all correspondence and negotiations needed to happen immediately. Cory managed it all with such grace that we didn’t have too many back and forth exchanges with the seller. It was a very pleasant buying experience for us. The negotiations, inspections, and closing were handled remotely. Our concerns /​questions were answered almost immediately during the process. Our lender representative was even present on a Google Hangout during our closing in California. Overall, this was an A+.
Since we were located remotely, she even offered her time to get the locks changed on our new home prior to our move-​in date.
We would do this again in the future with Cory.

My wife and I recently relocated to Austin. I received a referral to call Strub and Mark set us up with Ashley. I was super impressed with how Ashley took time to answer all of our questions (we had many as things are different in Austin compared to what we are used to). She went WAY above and beyond our expectations. For example, we weren’t ready to start seriously looking until March for an April or May closing and Ashley started showing us around town the November prior. We really put our realtor, Alex Tapp, to the test, and he never hesitated to meet our expectations and beyond. Alex was professional, yet approachable, guiding us through the entire process and even still after we owned the property. Few decisions we make in life can make — or take — so many thousands of our hard-​earned $$s more than buying or selling a home. Selecting a realtor is huge.

5 stars! Using Mark Strüb and Strüb Residential made moving an enjoyable process! We hired Mark to both sell our old house and buy our new house. On the seller side, we received an above asking price, same day offer — which I credit to the team staging and photographing the house perfectly, pricing it right on point, and Mark working closely with the buyer’s less experienced agent to guide him through. On the buyer side, we made a below asking price offer simultaneous to another potential buyer, and Mark helped put us in a position so it would go our way. Mark has a great deal of knowledge on the process and legal proceedings, as well as a large network of players in the industry. In a hot market like Austin, having a guy like Mark on your side is imperative!

We worked with Scott Harvey at Strüb Residential, and like the rest of the reviewers, only have the best things to say about our experience. Mark helped my family purchase an investment property in Austin. We are from California and only had two days in town. My husband and I recently purchased our first home in Central Austin; and it could not have been possible without the help of Mark Strub and his team at Strub Residential.

I’m a thorough researcher before committing to something. I interviewed a few agencies and settled down on Strub Residential. They’re a full service agency that uses a professional photographer and stager as part of the package. It means exposure to many sites of not just photos but a virtual tour as well. The stager was great, providing a lot of suggestions to allows us to stand out in the market and compete with new model homes as well.
Unfortunately we did not get to use these extra perks as Alex Tapp, the agent they teamed us up with, sold our house before we could even list it :-)
Apparently all he needs is a «Coming soon» sign to work with. He’s been responsive and attentive throughout the process.

At the recommendation of a friend, I called Mark Strüb. Not only were those other realtors flat out wrong, Mark was able to find dozens of options for me within my budget and in the right neighborhoods. On top of that, he was always available to get to a house as soon as it came on the market so I didn’t miss out. If he couldn’t be there, he made sure someone on his team was available to show.
Buying real estate in Austin is a roller coaster, to say the least. I knew NOTHING about buying a home, and Austin’s crazy market only complicates things. While living in Orange County CA we had a bad experience with our first realtor who had us put in an offer on a house for $ 15k more than what it was appraised for and still couldn’t make the deal happen. Mark got us the same house for us UNDER appraised value even with another offer on the table. He worked days, nights and weekends ensuring we were kept in the loop while being so far away.

My husband and I embarked upon what we thought would be a difficult endeavor: buying a home in Austin whilst living in China. Having never lived and hardly even visited Austin, we knew virtually nothing about the city and knew absolutely no one. Utilizing our digital resources, we narrowed our realtor search and sent Mark Strüb an email.
