Their pizza is great and reasonably priced. We recently just discovered Marco’s, but have now discovered this location went out of business! No!!!

Loved Marcos pizza on Burnet Rd., but sadly, this location has closed.

Simply average. Certainly better than the mega national chains, but with some work to do to be on the same level as local favorites. Their website seems to never work. They tout«order online!», but I’ve never been able to. The quality of their product also vacillates pretty greatly week over week. One time our pizza is super fresh with just the right quantity of ingredients. The next, it’s super soggy and seems like it’s been sitting for an hour. Most often they overload their pizzas to where you have to either hold a slice carefully with two hands and/or use a fork/plate. Massive quantities of toppings ain’t a bad thing – but y’all – build your crust so it can stand up to it! I will give them credit – they have pretty fast delivery, even during peak times. You’d be totally insane to NOT order with a coupon(they’re all online).

The pizza is delicious! I like it better than any of the main chain pizza places and the prices are good for what you get. I have been here several times with both my boyfriend and to pick up pizza during lunch for work. The wait time during lunch can be a little long but if you order ahead of time your pizza is ready when you get there. The last time I went was in a Sunday afternoon with my boyfriend, who was in town for the weekend. The gentleman at the counter gave us the nickname Superheroes because of our t-shirts. The food was awesome! We make sure to have Marco’s at least once when he is in town.

These guys get my order right about 25% of the time. Tonight I actually called them for the first time to try and get what I actually ordered — and the guy says«We will try and send someone by.» TRY? you will try to get me what I paid for? Last time I ever order from here. Update: they never came, or called me or refunded anything

We moved here from California about a year and a half ago, and we have had the worst time trying to find what is to us an acceptable or very good pizza. So when I read the good reviews for this place, we went to check them out. When we got there and saw that it was a chain, I was doubtful. When we walked in and saw that it shared space with a Subway, I was more doubtful. When the three-person staff looked somewhat dazed and distracted, I was even more doubtful. But Hubby was excited by what he saw on the menu, so I thought, what the heck, let’s just try it. And when the manager started interacting with a customer I saw that he actually was friendly and on the ball, so I started to feel more hopeful. And guess what? It was really good! Lots of cheese, good, fresh ingredients, good sauce, tasty crust(we got the thin crust). The manager was actually extremely helpful and nice, apologetic when they didn’t have a topping we wanted, and concerned about how to cut our pizza so that extra sauce on one side could be distinguished from normal sauce on the other. He was awesome, and this pizza was awesome. I’m not saying it was Italy or San Francisco or New York awesome, but it was satisfying and good, and a cut above even some more expensive restaurant pizzas we’ve had around here. So, go there :)

I really love the pizza. It is amazing! One of the best pizza I have ever had. Good price. Fresh ingredients, the best white sauce ever. Go and try it. Especially this location. Friendly employees!

Surprisingly good pie with great crust. I go to Marcos 2 – 3 times a month and highly recommend it to those who haven’t given it a shot. The Burnet Rd location is the best Marco’s IMO

I’ve had pizza at dozens of places all over the US and Italy that people rave about being THEBESTEVAR. Is the pizza here as good as those? Nope. But it’s still pretty darn good, and it’s way cheaper than at those places, especially if you use their online coupons when you order. I know it’s Unilocal blasphemy, but I just don’t think the difference between good pizza and the best pizza in the world is all that much. I love pizza, but, you know… it’s still just pizza. $ 10 for a large 2 topping pie(that is effectively 4 toppings if you do different ones on each side) that’s, like, 80% as good as the best pizza in town? Yeah, I’m happy with that! Also, the staff here has always been super nice to me. I like giving this place my business.

Have always loved Marcos Pizza so was excited for this one being close. Was disappointment when it was undercooked. The mushrooms on the veggie pizza tasted straight out of a can.

The slogan here should be «that coupon is expired» or maybe«go somewhere else». I ordered an online special two weeks ago and when I arrived to pick it up the coupon was not applied and the pizzas were the wrong sizes(large instead of medium). The refused to honor the deal without payment for the difference even though the error was on their end. Today, I ordered the same deal from them and although the sizes were correct I was refused the advertised deal because it was«expired». The website has no expiration dates posted yet the manager again would not honor the deal. The negative experiences I’ve had with this joint just aren’t worth it. Besides, the pizza’s mediocre at best. Bottom line: shady management + blah pizza = waste of time!

Marco’s has decent pizza and sandwiches, and I definitely prefer them over the Papa John’s down the road. The pizza usually isn’t too greasy(unless you get both kinds of pepperoni) and their regular crust is just about right, somewhere between thin and thick crust pizzas elsewhere. You can get free flavoring on the crust but I don’t do that very often. The sandwiches come warm, which is great because then the cheese is kind of melty! Their cheese bread is good but the cinnamon bread sticks are even better. They offer several types of salads and they typically don’t skimp on the toppings but you can always order extra. The four stars comes from three things: 1. Their customer service, which has been consistently great since they opened. They are always friendly on the phone or in person and their drivers are great. They also tend to remember you if you’re at least semi-regular, which I really like. 2. Great deals. They always have coupons available, even when ordering online. You can usually get a couple of pizzas and either a two-liter or cheese bread for about $ 20. 3. You can have any sized pizza delivered. Yes, this is a good thing because if it’s just you eating, you might not want a large pizza with a lot of leftovers. Plus, the ability to order a small pizza means there’s money for a salad! Caveat: be prepared to wait if ordering delivery because sometimes it takes 30 minutes or more for the food to show up. Try to order before you’re too hungry.

When I read that a chain pizza joint located inside a Subway was actually supposed to be decent, I didn’t believe it, but I trust Unilocal,so I tried it. It was surprisingly good. I would say that it’s as good as any chain pizza I’ve had. It reminds me of papa john’s when they’re at their best. There’s lots of cheese and it’s more chewy that crisp, but not overly so. Apparently, you can also get garlic butter on the crust for free and I’ll definitely do that next time. Sure, it might be a chain, but if the food’s good, close and reasonably priced, I’m not going to complain too much.

Great flavor, good prices. I ordered this pizza for delivery before I ever saw the establishment. I thought it was a small local business, but it’s a pretty big chain. The restaurant is clean. It’s set up like a food court with Subway and frozen yogurt place sharing the same dining area. Don’t let this deter you. The pizza has a lot of garlic and cheese. You can also get parmesan and garlic butter on the crust for free. Their delivery is fast, and the pizza is still hot even though I’m on the edge of their delivery zone. They have a lot of good deals for delivery, but slightly better deals when you go in to order. I recommend the New Yorker with Old World Pepperoni.

Well above average pizza … one of the better ones in Austin. On a slow night a month ago they even delivered to my house, which is outside of their usual delivery zone. So, they will go above and beyond whenever possible. In my conversations with staff and managers over there, I’ve also found them to be unusually nice.

Marco’s is no where near my house or work. Which may be a good thing. My wife needed to run an errand off North Lamar on our way home from the airport on a Saturday night. We had just stopped at the VIA313 trailer to pick her up a gluten free pizza on the way home north, and instead of picking up something for me, I passed. I decided to head over to Burnet, and back south a bit to Marco’s. Yes, we had been traveling all day after being out of town all week, stopped at one of Austin’s top-rated Pizza joints on the way, and I still drove extra for Marco’s. Now, embarrassingly, I have no idea how the pizza at Marco’s is. That’s because a friend tipped me off to the gloriously tasty treat known as CheezyBread. Served with a side of fresh pizza sauce and pre-packaged ranch to dip into, I was a doubter until I tasted it. Love the bite of the crust. That’s all I’ve ever gotten there. And for $ 5, it’s a steal. Helluva lot tastier than the similarly priced ‘footlongs’ at the sandwich shop they share space with. Some people even freeze half of it for a second meal. I call those people«quitters». I’ve done a walk-in order, and the service is fast. This time, I called in. The pleasant gal who answered said«about 10 minutes». 9 ½ minutes later, I walk in to see my CheezyBread creeping to the end of the oven conveyor. Seems like an efficiently run place. Now, time to run it off!

I’ll admit, I burst out laughing when I drove up to this place. The combination of Subway sandwiches, frozen yogurt, and pizza is so ridiculously random. But we had received a very well photographed coupon in the mail right at the moment of extreme hunger and could not fight the craving for pizza. Listened to the recommendations here and got the white cheesy and some cheesy bread for an all together cheesy meal. It was good, if not memorable. None of the ingredients really stuck out to me like at some other pizza places in town. It had been a long time since I had a non-thin crust pizza, and all the extra bread really filled me up. I was pacing around my apartment to work it off, followed by a round of Just Dance. As Unilocal states it, a-ok is what Marco’s is. Good quality, straightforward pizza and good prices. But for now, I’ll be sticking with East Side Pies.

I ordered two pizzas, and both of them were ready by the time I arrived with my group. The White Cheezy Pizza was great. The bacon and onions(which were practically caramelized) were fantastic with the four cheeses, and the tomatoes added some juiciness to the pizza. The other pizza was pepperoni and mushroom, and I was surprised to see how huge the mushrooms were. They don’t joke around with their pies and use great ingredients. What really impressed me is their website for online ordering. Compared to other pizza companies, they made it even easier and seamless to order, and they have SOMANYCOUPONS. Unfortunately, their website decided to fail right when my order processed, but I was able to call and get my order placed. The staff are incredibly nice– I really enjoyed the customer service. They knew there was a mix up with the online order since the site was down, so they made sure I got the pizzas I wanted. They genuinely wanted to make sure things were taken care of, instead of asking because they should. They have frequent buyer cards too! Marco’s Pizza, you win, and not just because my name is Marco. Can I get a free pizza because of my name?

The reviews I’ve read on this place are not over exagerated! This is the only pizza place I know that consistently makes quality food! The manager here really knows how to run the place. His attention to detail is fantastic. I used to walk in and order, but i found that ordering ahead of pick up is best. There are a couple TVs in the waiting area to watch games, and some comfortable chairs to sit in. A «Swirly Bird» yogurt store is in this building also. The pizzas are so good, its ridiculous. I usually eat 75% of one by myself. The whie cheezy is a great mix, and the standard pepperoni is also amazing. Get a free crust topper too! I tried the cheezy bread, thats good stuff. I was recommended the chicken dippers… they were ok, just tasted a little too«out of the freezer». Maybe try deep frying them? Oh! Try a crust topper! I had a dental cleaning once day around noon, i didnt eat breakfast, or lunch, because I was excited about heading to Marco’s immediately after my appointment. So many things went wrong at the dentist office which made me have to wait an extra 2 hrs! But I still wouldn’t cave until I had my Marco’s! There are also beer taps here. Standard light beers, but its great to have the option. Im in Fort Worth this weekend, but had I been home I would have started a rainy weekend with a large pepperoni with garlic butter crust!
