Austin Neurobehavioral Medicine was formed in August of 2000 by Gary Lusk, MD and Maggie Lusk, M.A., LCDC, LBSW. The goal was simple. Provide a means for the expression of our most intense passion. Helping people find their way to an understanding of their behavioral health needs and guide them, along with their families and other loved ones to a lasting recovery. Education and collaboration are central to our practice, and any and all questions are seen as essential to the healing process. We will also join your other clinicians in providing the most comprehensive care we can coordinate with you. We’ll help you learn how to best be well.

Maggie brings a broad range of skills to Austin Neurobehavioral Medicine. The business starts with her explaining our philosophy, and ends with her kindness and compassion. Her almost 30 years of behavioral health experience combined with an exceptional sense of organization are focused on providing the best possible experience for each patient and family. She has worked in triage and assessment, chemical dependency, and clinical case management, but her best assets are her attention to detail in facilitating the clinical care of all who seek help at Austin Neurobehavioral Medicine. She is the heart of the practice.
