First time leaving my dog with Josh. Smooth sailing all the way. I think my dog didn’t want to leave after all the fun she had at his place.
Josh treats your dog like his own and you should have no worries while you’re away. If you are more prone to worrying, Josh will send you pics and even FaceTime with you. The pic he sent me showed my dog happy and smiling. She had a great time.

I have been searching and searching for a place to leave our three kiddos when we travel and I have finally found their home away from home! You can truly tell that Josh cares very deeply for any pet left in his care. He goes above and beyond to let you know your fur-​kids are doing great. He will send you updates with pictures, which is so fun to see! I am wanting to plan a trip just so we can have an excuse to bring our fur-​kids back to Josh and his land of dog happiness!

We love Lone Star Leash Services! Josh is great with my dog, Frank. He attends daycare with Josh every week. It is nice to have someone trustworthy to watch my dog. Frank is not the easiest dog to take care of but Josh works around his needs.
I would recommend Josh to anyone looking for a pet care business run by a loving person who truly cares about the dogs and understands their behavior. We will be back time and time again!

My beloved fur-​baby is. well. like my baby, so knowing I would have to find a pet-​sitter for those times when I’m out of town was really stressing me out. That’s where Josh comes in. thank heavens for Josh and his services! Not only is Josh a fellow Frenchie owner so he really understands the breed (he now has three beautiful girls), but he truly and genuinely loves dogs and what he does. I left my girl with Josh for a weekend and she was in the ultimate care. Josh put my mind at ease with frequent updates and photos. He even let my Frenchie sleep in bed with him at night! I guess all the Frenchie’s curled up together at the end of the bed for a big Frenchie spooning session — so cute!
Josh was also super flexible about pick-​up and drop-​off times which made everything soo much easier. I hear some kennels are closed on Sundays and only allow you to pick up before certain times — hello! Just writing that gives me a panic attack! My dog being in Josh’s care is like my dog being in her own home — talk about a big sigh of relief!

Josh is a sweetie and I felt like I was leaving Lucy in the lap of doggie luxury when I was out of town! Josh has a good-​sized yard, lots of comfy couches and beds that the dogs are allowed to hang out on, lots of fresh water, and cuddles. What else could you ask for? Also, his dogs are so friendly and fun that it’s like a built-​in family. I’m so lucky that Josh lives nearby.

Josh is great with my boy Skylar. And at 90 lbs, he is a lot to handle! Josh sends me updates via email and text, when I am out of town. Skylar seems so happy and content when Josh is visiting him.
This is much easier for me, and Skylar gets to stay in the comfort of his own home.
I will definitely use and recommend Lone Star Leash Services.

Josh is one of the best dog walkers that we have experienced. He takes the time out to give us updates on our dog and the adventures that they go on. Josh is always prompt, courteous and very flexible in his schedule. Our dog loves Josh so much that she has definitely gotten spoiled and attempts to always go the oath that Josh takes her when we take her out in the evening.
He is reliable, dependable and have never had any issues

When looking for a doggie day care for my 4.5 month old frenchie, I was referred to Josh by fellow french bulldog owners who raved about him. I could not have been happier with Josh and his services! I was a little nervous about leaving him with just anyone because he can be hyper and can overheat but Josh listened to all my concerns and has frenchie experience with his two precious ones. Worries were gone completely and I even got check-​in texts throughout the day. He seems to truly love dogs and treated Duncan like his own.
When I contacted Josh initially, he was nice and responded quickly. He even wanted to set up an intro meeting between my dog and his to make sure they got along. I thought this was great because as mentioned, mine can be a lot to handle. I’m so happy that he got along great with Penny and Gigi!
*Bonus points, I contacted Josh on a Friday and he even fit me in for the next day!
