Established in 2009.

After years of making jewelry from home, Liz James was founded by owner Jamie Pope in 2009 in order to share her cultivated artistry with others. Each of Jamie’s creations stems from a natural elegance and makes a distinctive statement. Each piece is delicately designed so that women can dress it up or down, with attributes as unique as the person who will wear them.

Jamie dubbed her designs, Liz James in honor of her middle name, Elizabeth, and beloved childhood nickname, James. Consider LJ the epitome of the modern woman — smart, sassy, and always well accessorized.

Growing up as the daughter of sculptor and painter Rosie Sandifer in West Texas, Jamie developed and refined her artistic skills at an early age. The opportunities to see her mother’s work around the world served as inspiration for Jamie to explore the possibilities of her natural talents.

With a keen eye for aesthetic elegance, Jamie has always been drawn to the beauty of stones. Jamie’s designs combine unexpected elements and her handmade methods remain true to her style.

Today, Jamie feels blessed to have found her true calling. She is humbled by witnessing the same awed reactions that her mother caused when customers purchase pieces of Liz James jewelry. Jamie, with her husband and two sons, call Dripping Springs, Texas home.
