Don’t do it! The teachers are very nice but the director/​owner is terrible! Every time she told me something or made promises, she went back on her word. I specifically spoke to her about my son’s biting before enrolling him and she said that it was outrageous that he had been suspended from another center and that they would work with us. He didn’t bite for a month and everyone went on about how great he is, then all of a sudden he starts biting again (possibly due to teething), and after 3 days, she told me he was aggressive and couldn’t stay! If she didn’t want to deal with the issue in the first place, then she just should have been upfront about it. This is why I specifically addressed it before enrolling him! She also treats her employees like they’re children and patronizes them. I don’t know why anyone would want to work for her.

I have 2 boys who have been going to Little dudes since June. I was at my wits end when they joined trying to find a suitable daycare for them my oldest at the time was 4 and my youngest just over one. I called and spoke to Ms. Pat who invited me right away to come and take a look at the facility. I was so impressed with what I saw when we went for a visit but still a little apprehensive with my youngest as it was his first time in daycare. From the day he started it only took him a week to get used to being there, he has seen one teacher change and now has Ms. Velia who I adore she takes such wonderful care of him. Since she has started my son is doing baby sign language, talking, he loves to read and do art and comes home with the most amazing artwork that decorates our whole home! Every morning he asks to go to school, he has a few allergies one being Mosquitos which is hard given were in Texas, he had a few times over the summer where he was just eaten alive but Ms. Velia went out of her way to make sure he had bug spray and would always tell me if she noticed he had be bitten. Everyone at the center is amazing they always promptly call me if there is anything going on with the kids, if I drop them off in the morning a notice anything with my boys sniffles or a mood they will monitor them all day and talk to me about everything before I can even ask. As for my oldest he is now 5 and in school but we made sure he is still going to little dudes for after school care, he loves Ms. Jean and Mr. James from June when he started to August when he started kindergarden they had helped him start learning to write and spell and were as proud of him as I am. He has always had a bit of a learning delay and since being here and being in school you wouldn’t even be able to tell he is so happy here! What more could I ask for as a single mom but people looking after my kids and teaching him the way I do. My boys love everyone at the center and talk to me all the time about their teachers and Ms. Pat.
I ran into some hard times recently and had to have emergency surgery Ms. Pat and everyone at the center have been amazing working with me and helping me with the boys while I’ve been recovering! These teachers are becoming extended family to myself and my boys I would recommend little dudes to anyone!

My kids have been attending this center for over a year. I must say the first year was great. My kids were always happy to go to to the center. But the past couple of months have not been well for my youngest 2 year old but great for my 3 year old which I found that strange. Why would my 3 year old continue to love the center but not my 2 year old. Well past couple of moths I’ve noticed my 2 year old go through a change he was no longer happy he has become very aggressive I thought maybe terrible twos? But then I thought maybe the change of new teacher? I asked his teacher Ms. Rita if she noticed an she stated that he was biting her and charging at her for no reason. Ok so thats when I defiantly thought terrible twos. But on numerous occasions my son was coming home wearing different diapers that did not belong to him in which resulted in break outs of rash. Very bad scraps on his knees and no incident report. I just thought maybe it have been honest mistakes by Ms. Rita. Still I’m having feelings something is not right his behavior begins to worsen and I notice Ms. Rita is not acknowledging my son in a warm and loveing care anymore noticed she had a different attitude against him. Come to find out a teacher came forward and notified me that my son was being mistreated by Ms. Rita my heart broke all this time I just kept thinking terrible twos I notified the director immediately a scheduled meeting was scheduled at the meeting the director Ms. Pat informed me that she apologized for what I was going through and was going to meet with Ms. Rita and also make arrangements for my son to be in a different class because I told her I did not want my son in Ms. Rita class any longer. I received a call from Ms. Pat and she stated that Ms. Rita stated the reason she was not acknowledging my son anymore was because he would always make the face expressions that alerted her he was going to throw a tantrum. Ms pat also stated that ms Rita was going to be trained on the diaper situation making sure all initials were going to be written on the diapers to make sure no mix ups could happen she also stated that ms Rita was advised to use positive words and that my son had a placement at another little dudes facility. Really your just going to move my son to another facility but continue to have a teacher that mistreated her students I was so disappointed obviously she does not care about the children it’s more important for her to just have someone there and not having to go through the whole thing of being short handed and having to work. My best advise is if you do choose this daycare please make sure not to have your children in 18 – 24 month old. Your best options of teachers would be Ms. Maria for 2 yr olds, Ms. Sheila 3 yrs old and Ms. Jean 4 yrs old. The situation with my son is still ongoing and hope to find another facility.

My son 3 year old son goes here and he loves it! I had never had my either of my kids in daycare and was very apprehensive about putting them in a person s home. I am on the parent board and planning fundraiser right now, so I m really learning about the owner and how long she has been doing this. She really cares about this kids and her care givers and feels as if they are family. I was in total awe over the lengths she was going for the kids to get the extra funding and to protect the right and the funding for the low income families. Things we just don t think about we just think are there Well the owner Pat, she the lady out there pounding the pavement while we are at work trying to make ends meet. She s the one helping us make those ends meet. Shes a super star!!! And she keeps tuition as low as she can ans still pay her bills. 3 days a week $ 350, full week $ 550. Are you joking!?! One of the teachers taught my friend s daughter when she was three, her daughter is now 21. That s 18 years people. That s dedication. The doors are open. I say take your kids here! I have never seen anything bad here. I have only seen good. AND I VOLUNTEER here and have my nose right up in the doors! I love the hearts of the ladies! They even potty trained my son in 2 months!!! KUDDOS!!!

My son is 16 months old and has been in daycare since he was 3 months old. I recently moved and decided to enroll my son here. MISTAKE!
The first day I picked my son up he cried with a passion as soon as he saw me. He was very dirty, hungry and sleepy. I got him home, changed his diaper and found sand and small rocks. I bathed him, fed him and he slept for 5 hours! After that, my son cried every single day I left him and was crying when I picked him up. It makes me very upset just thinking about this!
One morning after I dropped my son off I overheard an employee telling another employee: [her exact words] «He was crying and kicking, it’s too early for this shit I wanted to twist his ass up like a pretzel» If she said that loud enough for me to hear it in another room. I’m 100% sure the children heard it too! I approached the director with this information and the woman still works there as far as I know.
1. There is usually NEVER someone at the desk to help.
2. The AC unit may not be working because it is always hot when I walk in.
3. The director was usually never there when I was there.
4. The cook takes care of the children in the morning while, since there are no teacher there at the time they open.
5. They have my son in a dark room with 2 children half his age.
If you are a parent looking for QUALITY care for your child, don’t look here.
