History

Established in 2012.

The University of Tulsa is where I received my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology in 1993. As part of my degree program, I completed a one year full-time clinical internship at Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas, Texas. As an intern, I completed rotations through Child, Adolescent, and Adult Inpatient Psychiatry, Child, Adolescent, and Adult Outpatient services, and Adult rehabilitation and Neuropsychological services. After my internship, I went to work for Terrell State Hospital as a staff psychologist on an Adult Inpatient Unit. After a year, I returned to work full time as a Staff Psychologist at Presbyterian Hospital in Adult Inpatient and Outpatient Services. Throughout those years, I volunteered at church and in my children’s school. My passion is working with couples educating them about healthy marriage and helping them through times of struggle and crisis. I have worked with many couples trying to put their lives back together following infidelity and have skill/interest in this area

Business Owner

I spent the first 28 years of my life in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Most of my family lives there still. The University of Tulsa is where I received my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology in 1993. As part of my degree program, I completed a one year full-time clinical internship at Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas, Texas. Immediately following my internship, I went to work for Terrell State Hospital as a staff psychologist on an Adult Inpatient Unit. After a year, I returned to work full time as a Staff Psychologist at Presbyterian Hospital in Adult Inpatient and Outpatient Services. I later moved to Austin and decided to stay home full time with my young children. Throughout those years, I volunteered at church and in my children’s school. When my kids began to enter highschool, I returned to my profession. I have a young-adult son and daughter, a young-adult step-son and daughter-in-law, and a young-adult step-daughter. My husband and I attend Austin Stone Church and coordinate Wild-Week Summer Camp
