Bellydance classes with Lily begins with a moderate warm-up which consists of yoga, pilates, and dance movement. Bellydance movements are broken down, drilled, and danced to music. Each class ends with a gentle cool-down and stretch.
Class content is progressive, using movements from previous classes. We highly suggest new students start at the beginning of a series. Although you can drop in any time for a class.
History
Established in 2007.
In 2007, Lily returned to Austin from her travels abroad and began teaching classes at Café Dance. In 2013, Lily moved her classes to the new Austin Bellydance Studio located in northwest Austin to help nurture Austin’s bellydance community.

Business Owner
Lily teaches classic bellydance and tribal fusion style bellydance in Austin, Texas. She has traveled the world to study, teach, and perform bellydance for the past 13 years. Lily is Level 2 certified in the Suhaila Salimpour Format, Level 1 certified in the Jamila Salimpour Format, and is also a certified Hatha Yoga instructor registered with Yoga Alliance.
