Lee & Paul’s Grooming

This place is simply the best. I take my schnauzer here and he loves it. It helps that they love him too!

My pup got a really great do! I was nervous about taking his long ear hair short, but Lee gave me different options to choose from and he looks great. So happy to have found Lee & Paul’s!

I have been searching for a groomer in Austin and came across Lee & Paul and will NOT go anywhere else. My sweet dog, Jacque, feels safe, secure, and is treated like family when there. Besides his «cut» being perfect every time both Lee and Paul treat Jacque like a first rate customer, making certain that he is okay through the grooming process. Something we are «used to» in Los Angeles. The facility is clean, Lee and Paul are professional, kind, and I highly recommend this place for dog grooming.

I have been bringing my sweet rescue mutt, Coco, here since her first haircut about four months ago. Coco is mostly maltese, so she’s small and has a relatively high-​maintenance coat.
The first time I took her in, I was an admittedly nervous mommy, especially because Coco wasn’t comfortable around strangers yet. Lee showed me all the tools, explained the grooming process, and turned on the clippers around Coco so she (and, let’s be real, I) wouldn’t be nervous. By the time I left, I knew my girl was in good hands, and when I picked Coco up that afternoon and she was soft, adorable, and a very happy camper.
Now, as soon as we turn the corner of Lee and Paul’s street, Coco is bouncing up and down in the passenger seat and grinning her little face off. As soon as she sees Lee, Coco bounds over for a hug and lots of kisses. She LOVES going to the groomer. Awesome.
I’m a graduate student. Prices are reasonable, cash or check only. Drop-​off in the morning (7:30−9am), and Lee will call in the afternoon when Coco is ready; pup can stay until 5:30−6pm if I’m in class or working.

Lee is wonderful. She pays very careful attention to your dog’s needs and sensitivities, and consults extensively with you on your desired cut. Not all groomers have her level of understanding of a dog’s needs, which, in my opinion, is crucial to helping your dog feel safe while he is at the groomer. Luigi also always comes home cuter than when he left, which is amazing given how cute he is.
Lee also is generous with her time with rescue dogs in foster. Small dogs need haircuts regularly, and many of them come into rescue so severely matted they look (literally) like characters from Star Wars, so its no easy task to groom some of these babies.
Finally, given the fact that Petco recently lost a dog here in Austin, I feel it all the more important to work with a local groomer like Lee to ensure your pet’s safety and well-​being. I feel completely confident leaving Luigi in Lee’s hands.

Lee spent her entire Sunday grooming 5 very neglected Maltese that were taken into Lil Paws Maltese Rescue on Friday night. They were filthy with 4 inch thick matts all over their body and legs many embedded with feces and urine. Tonight they are beautiful, clean and their hair is silky soft plus they smell great. Tonight we were able to hold them and you could tell how much they enjoy feeling clean. Check out their pictures in a few days on
