Lead A Pack

We recently adopted a 2-​year old Yorkie-​mix from the Austin Animal shelter and we were having issues training him AND our other dog Sadie. We’ve had Sadie since she was a puppy (she’s 5 now) and she has been the queen of the house for so long. She was becoming protective of her food and both dogs were each teaching the other bad habits. I grew up with dogs my whole life and I thought I knew what I was doing, but after a week of stress my husband and I decided to get help from Erich — and it was THE SMARTEST THING WE EVER DID!
I was skeptical to think that we’d learn anything new, but WE DID!!! And in fact, i realized that everything I was doing was WRONG! When Erich came over and taught us how to deal with the dogs, we saw IMMEDIATE results. IMMEDIATE!!! Our new dog used to bolt out the front door when it was open, and now he waits for our command. It was incredible to see the difference in a matter of minutes. We’ve been using all his tips and training and have seen a world of difference. I’ll never stray from what I learned from him.
I HIGHLY recommend Erich. In fact, I’ve already recommended him to a few co-​workers of mine. I honestly think this was the best money I’ve ever spent!!! If you have a dog (or two) and need some peace in the house, i wouldn’t waste another minute — call Erich and have him come over!

Erich was highly recommended to us by one of my husbands co-​worker. He came over to help us with our two dogs (5 months & 6 years) who barked too often, didn’t respect boundaries, freaked out with annoying excitement around other dogs, were terrible on leashes & jumped up constantly.
Within 5 minutes we knew we had chosen wisely. He is so kind, knowledgable and did such a wonderful job explaining to us the whys behind the dogs behavior. He came over for an hour and it helped SO much, there was a noticeable difference in the dogs… or we better understood what to do with them to make them mind better. We were also concerned with the dogs behavior since we are expecting our first child in May– he gave us some great tips and told us to reach out to him once we started bringing baby stuff in the house so we could set up boundaries from the beginning — above and beyond his call of service! His prices are very reasonable, which is why we waited so long to find someone and I am glad we held out for the best. We can’t recommend Erich enough, he has a true gift with the animals and we are so grateful for his time and gift.

Erich was very helpful in helping me train my dog, who as adorable as he is, I had to admit needed more structure than I was providing. He helped me to understand dog behavior and psychology so that I could «communicate» better with my dog. Erich works in the home environment to observe you and your dog interact (like Cesar Milan which is very cool), then comes up with an individualized plan based on your needs and goals. He is very good with dogs and they respond well to him. He was very accurate in assessing my own temperament in relation to my dog’s temperament. Once I understood my dog’s fundamental needs and actually his desire for structure, I had the tools I needed to train him, and this has really strengthened my bond with my dog in the long run.

I’ve had lots of trainers and have spent a ton of money and time for Ellie Belle and Erich is by far the best. Trust me on this one. I really believe he’s a dog whisperer and has a true gift with pups. He’s a total professional, punctual and he even brings his notepad with him for his first evaluation. Dogs love him and there hasn’t been an issue he hasn’t been able to help with. Hire him and try him out at least once, you’ll be so happy you did!
