Specialties

Our Restaurant does pizza crust right. It’s not thick, but not too thin. We toss the dough and paddle your pizza into the dome oven, spinning it a few times to reach an even 600 degrees and be cooked to perfection from top to bottom. Our Stromboli and our Calzone are superb and can be made custom for you as well. We have gluten free crust as well!

Salads are big and delicious because we use the best fresh produce trimmed and chopped with care. You have the choice of Caesar, House, Spinach, Classic Wedge or Greek salads.

Sandwiches Try the Meatball Sub with our own meatballs and marinara sauce, topped with mozzarella. Or opt for the Grilled Chicken or the Cuban or the Philly Cheese Steak.

Steaks, Fish and Chicken finest quality and first cut. why not indulge yourself with a fine Ribeye or Ahi Tuna Steak? We also have suburb Chicken Marsala and Chicken Piccata and Grilled Salmon as well!

Pastas do fabulously with our in-​house own marinara, meatballs and sausage.

Lakeside Pizza & Grill was founded to bring a fresh and comfortable community restaurant to the Steiner Ranch and Lake Travis area. Serving the community for 7 years, Lakeside Pizza & Grill has been dedicated to serving artisan quality food in big portions that are always fresh.

This little restaurant is a great little gem away from the crazy Austin traffic. We enjoy walking to this spot on a sunny afternoon and enjoying local company. The food is great and the happy hour specials are very economical. Support local businesses and avoid the traffic by making this one of your regular eateries!

My daughter and I ate here for the first time and we both thought the food was great! We shared the Spinach Artichoke Dip appetizer, it was so good, it was definitely my favorite. I had the Chicken Piccata and I was truly impressed. My daughter said her Caesar Salad was excellent. We will be back for sure!

Where else can you meet the demands of a foodie family all with one call. ESPECIALLY with delivery out in Steiner.
Pork Chop — moist and tender.
Beers are always cold
Pizza (being from NYC i am vicious — but not bad!)

One of the worst pizza joints to ever exist! First off the delivery service left immediately after taking our money without asking or evening waiting for us to say we wanted change. He left w a 10 dollar tip!
The pizza was subpar — soggy, tasteless and a general disappointment. Doesn’t this restaurant want to improve their product? The reviews are terrible and it’s too bad I didn’t read them before calling them.
I hope they read these reviews and do better.

We order food from Lakeside all the time, and it’s always fresh and since they are literally right outside out subdivision at Steiner Ranch, convenient. Don’t feel like cooking or going out, it’s the right place. I love the salmon, my kids like the sandwiches but not the pizzas. We can never understand why it takes so long to deliver them and since I have teens and early 20 year olds here there are lots of movie nights and kids hanging out who want pizza. It would take so long we tried a place farther away and got the pizzas in half the time. So that’s why I didn’t give it 5 stars. I do like having a place like this in the neighborhood that delivers and the delivery kids are always so polite and friendly. I would like it if they’d add a few more items to their menu, since it hasn’t changed since we ‘ve moved here. The quality of food is very good and all 5 of us have our favorites saved on their site which is a great convenience they offer.

Solid neighborhood restaurant, I’ve been here a couple of times to try the pizza and the grill items. Service is friendly and helpful, and the food is decent. The lunch-​portion of the pizza is one of their regular-​size ones cut in half; the pepperoni I’ve had there is superb, though the mushrooms I had on one sogged up the crust a bit. Ribeye was made from a quite good cut of meat, though the medium-​rare I asked for was done as a medium-​well.
Lakeside tries to be a little of everything: part patio restaurant, part pizzeria, part burger/​steak joint, and part sports bar. It succeeds in achieving a comfortable mediocrity. For example, it does do a reasonably good pizza, and it strives to do a more upscale patio scene, yet there’s more than a half-​dozen televisions blaring above the bar area, making it difficult to talk at times.
Where Lakeside shines is in its specials; when I was last there, they had some good specials on their pizza. On Monday, there was an extremely good discount on a ribeye steak platter (this was back in 2015, so I would check to make sure they still do it).
Average it out, and it gets 3 stars on the ‘CTJ Scale’ as noted below.
5 out of 5 stars: Come-​to-​Jesus good. Would be OK passing on after finishing a plate here.
4 out of 5 stars: Come-​to-​Mary good. Would be OK being seen eating here by Mother Mary.

We have enjoyed Lakeside several times since moving to Steiner. My kids & I have enjoyed their pizzas; in particular the GF ones for my daughter & I. No reactions so far, even with possible cross contamination from flour dust.
The happy hour is great for my husband & I to discuss business while the kids are at tutoring.
After giving the bartender the go ahead to create his own concoction after my inability to make a decision; he blew me away with an incredible version of a grapefruit mule! Ginger beer & Deep Eddy Grapefruit! Delicious! Rene is a great mixologist!
We will continue to order here as long as any reactions remain non-​existent.
Also, they have a poker tournament that get together on Mondays. No cash buy in;) The hubs came home with the winner winner gift card dinner! Lol.

WTF??? After hearing a local morning radio hack rave about this place, when my wife had some business in Steiner Ranch, I thought let’s give this place a try. MISTAKE!!! I ordered a personal size pepperoni and sausage pizza, my wife ordered a cheese burger and fries. When our order was delivered, my personal size pizza was 3 slices of cold pepperoni with fenial seeds thrown on it!!! They tried to serve me table scraps!!! WTF??? Who does that??? I asked the waitress why I was served 3 cold slices, her response, trouble with the pizza oven. WTF??? Is it cuz I’m not a Steiner Ranch resident? I am 53yrs old and my wife is 13 years younger than me. Was it that I don’t have a potbelly and my wife doesn’t have duck lips and a bad Austin boob job??? Steiner Ranch, you deserve this P.O.S. restaurant!!! With your 4th place trophy wives and 1 exit if there was fire, yes you deserve this place!!!

Love this place! We have eaten here many times and enjoy the pizza, pasta and the house salad with ranch dressing. We have used them to cater a party and we have used their upstairs loft for a small party of 16. The food and service is great!

Always delicious, fresh and fun. Great service and a cozy atmosphere and fast delivery when needed. A favorite of ours when we have out of town visitors. And they have great live music on the patio which is fun on warm summer nights. Love Lakeside!

I am at 3 stars for the following reasons:
Pizza taste is great, the atmosphere is nice, it seems to flow, has upstairs for out the way private party’s, poker, or just having a meeting. I would however would expand that area there is plenty of room to do so. The one issue is IF & when you have event having service is a little less than normal one last thing I saw one piece of key lime come up and thought that looks delicious & key being one of my favorites I said I’ll have one. When it finally arrived it looked a bit crusty & the taste of it was like a leathered lime with whip cream on top.
I was bit disappointed.
I have been there 3 times. Once I had some sort of salad that was very delish — need to see menu again.
Not completely discounting this place out Yet.

I attended a Pints for Pups event at Lakeside Pizza and Grill and was pleasantly surprised with their pizza. I would say service was rather average but the pizza, decent wines by the glass and pup friendly patio made up for it.
During the event they had live music on the patio. The patio is on the small side, half of it is covered and the covered area has misting fans. The inside has a long winding bar and several 4 tops. There is an upstairs area but we didn’t venture up to check it out.
For the event they were serving local beers on tap, you purchased a Pints for Pups signature glass and they filled it with the beer of our choice. I opted for the Infamous Brewery Amber and loved it. Unfortunately when we went inside to cool off the draft beer selection lacked local and great beers for that matter but they do have a few good ones in can and bottles. I ordered a glass of the malbec and we split a personal Italian Trio pizza. I have had some dud pizzas lately and was so happy with this gooey chewy pie. Lots of gooey cheese and the flavors of the Italian sausage, prosciutto and salami were perfect.
Kudos for supporting the community and local animal shelters Lakeside Pizza! Now can we show some local brewers some love by adding some Texas craft beers on tap? We would be more apt to make the trek to Lakeway if local beer was added to the draft lineup.

I’ve been coming for several years and honestly I think I never gave this place the credit it was due before. The more I come I realize the food quality is better than most, the servers are nice and on Fridays and Saturdays they have great musicians entertain.
One duo, Flamingo, has a man playing guitar like one of the guys from Gypsy Kings and violinist that adds extra dimension to the sound, if you catch them there playing, get comfortable, order a drink. You will get sucked into the sound; you won’t want to leave because they’re that good.
The pizzas are high quality, they have a lot of flavor, more exotic specialty topping pizzas or build your own too. My favorite go to appetizer, the spinach dip, it’s the perfect amount of oven baked cheese, spinach and warm bread. The Caesar salad is really tasty, fresh Parmesan cheese and dressing are done right. Sandwiches are huge too.
If you bring kids, their grilled chicken is actual real chicken, fresh and I suggest the roasted potatoes, really flavorful. It’s nice to go out and feed kids real food that is not fake frozen mystery food compared to what most places serve to little ones.
They have a full bar, so catch a few drinks, watch a game on one of their TVs or kick back and listen to their musicians jam out. On a perfect night, they have outdoor seating too.
They do honor one of the most generous and appreciated military discounts, so a huge thank you for honoring those who serve.
