Dr. Kristi McKenzie specializes in personalized care for patients with obstetrical or gynecological needs. Dr. Kristi McKenzie is a strong believer that every woman should be actively engaged in her life and in her health. Personalized care is delivered in a small office catering to individual needs. Dr. McKenzie has intentionally chosen a small practice to nurture the personal relationships we come to cherish through the phases of a woman’s life.

Dr. McKenzie offers in office procedures such as hysteroscopy, endometrial ablation, Essure tubal ligation. In addition, Dr. McKenzie offers minimally invasive techniques for hysterectomy and ovarian cysts utilizing the DaVinci robot.

Dr. McKenzie is happy to provide contraceptive options such as the Mirena IUD, Paragard IUD, Skyla IUD, in addition to tradition oral contraceptive pills.

History

Established in 2005.

Dr. Kristi McKenzie completed residency training in 2005 at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, KY. While her husband was finishing his training, Dr. McKenzie enjoyed building a busy private practice at a nearby private hospital. Once the Mr. Dr. McKenzie completed residency, the family moved to Los Angeles for further training then returned to Lexington. When the opportunity to come back home to Texas popped up, it was hard to pass on.

Dr. Kristi McKenzie, a native Texan, graduated magna cum laude from Texas A&M University in 1996 and went on to Texas Tech University to study medicine. From there, Dr. McKenzie proceeded to the University of Kentucky in Lexington, KY, to specialize in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She completed her training in 2005 and became a private practitioner. Dr McKenzie quickly built a robust practice and has enjoyed providing excellent care in private practice since 2005.
