Kerring Group specializes in a wide array of Home Medical Equipment including Power Wheelchairs, Scooters, Wheelchairs, Walkers, Recliner Lift Chairs, Bathroom Safety products, Hospital Beds, Support Surfaces, Cushions, Aids to Daily Living. We also sale and install Ramps, Scooter Lifts for Vehicle, Stairlifts, and Home Modifications. Our Service Department can repair most brands of Power Mobility and other HME products. We work with several insurance carriers, including: Medicare, Medicaid, United Healthcare, Amerigroup, Care Improvement +, Humana and more.

Meet the Business Owner

Nick M.

Business Owner

Born and raised in Texas, Nick moved from South Texas to Austin to attend the University of Texas in 1994. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Communications in 1997. After graduation, Nick began working in the HME Industry and in 2002 he helped create Kerring Group.

The company grew significantly in the first couple years and in 2005 he brought in his wife, Kelly Murphey, as a partner. Over the next several years Kerring Group grew to become one of the top local suppliers of Power Mobility in the Central Texas area. Nick also has a passion for Crime Prevention especially in the Senior Community and in 2007 joined with local law enforcement as a volunteer with SALT (Seniors And Law Enforcement Together). Today he spends most of his time working to improve company operations and speaking to Senior Groups on crime prevention. Nick also enjoys reading, fishing, watersports, playing music, and traveling with his wife.
