Horrible. Hired him for my child custody mediation. I had a great case as the father was bipolar and unemployed. Rick sat there texting throughout the mediation, I was doing all the talking to the judge, and he even at one point said to me in front of the judge, «Well just to play devil’s advocate, if you think the father is so dangerous why have you let him see your daughter?» Um, I’m sorry, what? Do I pay him to play devil’s advocate? I didn’t get what I wanted, and I ended up sobbing crying in the mediation room. He didn’t care, of course. This was years ago and I’m still really upset about the whole situation. I wish I would’ve known.

I hired Melissa Peters, she was moving and Rick was assigned to my case. I would not recommend him to anyone. Awful, lazy, makes excuses, does not return phone calls, had to send several emails to get a response and I felt like he did not put in any effort to fight for what I was hoping for. The whole experience was emotional and I hope I never have to speak to him again. Zero stars!!!
