Specialties

Kathi Thomas Design is an event design and planning service.

KTD creates beautiful, gentle on the earth designs for your special event, and can help the entire event be as «earth friendly» as possible, so that you can have the beautiful occasion you want without leaving an ugly mess for tomorrow.

KTD also offers event consulting & coordination, from hourly consultation services to «day of» coordination to full service coordination.

History

Established in 1990.

Kathi «grew up» in her family’s nursery & florist in SE Texas. in 1990 Kathi opened a floral design school and began designing weddings once again. After 5 years of the school, she closed it to do weddings & other special events full time and has never looked back.

KTD is a studio florist, meaning we don’t have flowers every day, but rather, order specifically for our special events. Every bloom is ordered for and used in the event, meaning high quality blooms with special care given to them so they are at their peak for your event.

An eco-friendly business, KTD composts all stems and other floral waste, uses 100% rainwater, and does all she can to live, and work, gently on this earth.
