History

Established in 1970.

In 1997, J-​V Dirt + Loam began installing compost and mulch for use as erosion control and re-​vegetation. In 2000, TxDOT began implementation of Special Specifications for the use of compost. With the printing of the new TxDOT Blue Book of Standard Specifications in March 2003, compost became a standard product for use on roadways statewide.

JV Environmental Services has emerged from J-​V Dirt + Loam as the preferred residential and commercial installer of mulch, compost, erosion control, and re-​vegetation. The experienced team uses their expertise in providing more detailed and personalized services to homeowners and business owners, including landscape designers. Using advanced technology, the installers can install compost and/​or mulch products, saving valuable time and labor while enhancing the beauty of your landscaping and improving the soil.
