Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Jon Selden & Company is headed by attorney Jon Selden, an experienced litigator with over a decade of experience – ranging from maritime cargo and collision cases to commercial disputes to personal injury and wrongful death matters.

Jon founded the firm in 2008 to fight for good people hurt by the reckless decisions of others – especially drunk drivers. Previously, he worked as an attorney for top law firms in both Austin and Houston.

Selden attended law school at Gonzaga University School of Law and the University of Houston Law Center. He graduated with his juris doctor degree in December 2003.

While at Gonzaga, the Spokane, Wash.-native clerked for the legendary Houston-​based litigation boutique Fisher Boyd Brown Boudreaux & Huguenard LLP.

Selden received a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and a minor in journalism at Brigham Young University, where he graduated in 2001.

Selden lives with his family in West Lake Hills, where he is active in his community and church.
