JJCH built our home in San Antonio back in 2013 and right before our home was completed we learned he sold the company. At the time we were told he would own the warranty of which he was responsive initially he never addressed a leaky window but now less than 3 years later we have a foundation issue that is causing our wood floors to sink in our family room and it is getting worse by the day. I have contacted Jimmy Jacob construction asking for some to get back with me ASAP but have not heard anything. We live on a hill with a massive foundation so we are concerned this could be something more serious. Based on what I read on the internet it appears he still has Jimmy Jacobs Construction so I would caution anyone considering his services.

This place is the worst. If you call their headquarters they send you to the sales center. The sales center will not give you customer service and blow you off, even if you have bought a home (overpriced) from them. All they do is sell, sell, sell. ABC huh guys? If I had to guess — 80% of what they say will be lies.

These reviews combine all of my worse nightmares! I am currently in the process of having JJ bid a build on my lot home in the Austin Area. The salesman seems very in tune with the needs of the customer and building process. Are any of the reviews for «Build On Your Lot» program? Does the salesman disappear once you sign the contract? I have built a number of houses in my lifetime and all have their horrible moments and stresses. It seems to me that these reviews basically are about JJs inability to communicate through these tough times. Therefore, I am looking in to other builders as of today. I will not be disrespected when its my half-​million dollars on the line. Communication, up front pricing, and minimizing surprises are the keys to a successful home building experience.

We love our Jimmy Jacobs home! The home is beautiful and we were very happy with the entire process. We have had two warranty issues, both of which were handled quickly and efficiently. They actually responded to my emails on a Sunday within 10 minutes. From the sales agent, our builder to the warranty guys, and every one in between, the experience was first class!

We closed on our JJCH last June and we’ve been trying to get warranty repairs done since May and finally got Deanna to come look at our issues in the beginning of June but haven’t heard from her since. We’ve called repeatedly and left messages for her and Maddie but both have failed to answer or return our calls. I finally called Maddie last week from my work phone and she answered on the first ring. I asked why she has not returned out calls and she didn’t have an answer but said she would have Jeff call me back. I have never experienced such poor customer service and am very frustrated. We just want our repairs done and don’t know who to contact next.

That’s correct Rebecca, Justin Jacobs is no longer with «Jimmy Jacobs Homes.» However like many homeowner responding here, my warranty ended during the transition, that’s when service declined and homeowners began to be shuffled between foremen. Although not with JJCH, unfortunately Justin Jacobs is responsible for warranty work. I’ve been dealing with pest in my home for over a year now because of holes in the soffitt and open mortar joints, may I add with no response from JJCH. Also a friend of mine recently contacted a home, however is not aware that JJ has sold the company. I appreciate your response, it’s more than I received from JJCH warranty department.

We signed our contract back in June of 2013. I was given an undated (signed by «illegible» Century Land Holdings II, LLC, «Authorized Signatory») amendment back in October, advising me of the buy-​out and that we would not be effected.
We lost our beloved Keith Jackson (right before Christmas, I might add-​nice present to give your best salesman) as a result of the buy-​out. No one alerted us to this (only a vague e-​mail-​notification of the new person in charge)
Things seemed to be (snail’s-pace) moving along. We got to meet our contractor and build a report. Then he left (supposedly for a better job elsewhere) Again, he didn’t inform us.
We got a new project manager and at this point we’re tired of building new relationship-​reports with new people.
