HISTORY– JCA is a Christian Company

JCA= Jewish Carpenter’s Apprentice.

I’m sure most of you have seen the Christian bumper stickers «My Boss Is A Jewish Carpenter»

This was my inspiration for the business name.

I was having a difficult time finding work. A friend (Linda) ask me to help her with a home repair project. Her neighbor (Mr. Frankhaul) saw the work I was doing and ask if I could do some work for him. I agreed. I received a phone call, about a week later, from a friend of Mr. Frankhaul to do some work for them. My wife then suggested I look in to doing this full time. So I thought and prayed about it and placed my first ad on Craigslist two days later. And JCA was born.

Business Owner

I was born in South bend, IN. in 1967, My parents moved to Tucson, AZ when I was 5, were I attended Elem. and HS.

Started working as a New Home Painter right out of HS. Went on to try other construction work and apartment maintenance, where I gained most of my in home repair knowledge. I worked for a landscape Co. building retaining walls, seat walls, brick and flagstone patios, but my favorite job was water features, IE: waterfalls, fountains, and ponds. Regrettably this pattern made me look unreliable in work history, but God used this to better equip me for the work I do now, which I love!
