History

Established in 2008.

Video production and marketing, film production, content creation and good times are what we have going for us here at Ironthorn Media. We work with small businesses and non-​profit organizations to get the word out — Are you ready for your 15 minutes of fame?

We have produced documentary films for PBS and spend quite a bit of time in the documentary film world. We have promoted our films for years and our own small business, raising tens of thousands on Kickstarter and reaching hundreds of thousands of people on social media. We now produce films for Television as well as producing shorter online videos as well as working with small businesses on their social media and online presence.

Sophie R.

Business Owner

Sophie has worked as a filmmaker and freelance journalist all over the world Her feature documentary, «Yellow Fever — Uncovering the Navajo Uranium Legacy» aired on PBS’s World Channel in the series «America Reframed» in March 2015. She is the executive director of Issue Television, a media for education non-​profit 501c3 organization. Another project in production, Radio Taboo, recently garnered funding from national Geographic. When not producing she is involved with media development projects, marketing small businesses online, crowdfunding, consulting and more.
