Zheng Zeng is absolutely amazing. She is attentive to your needs and very knowledgeable. She likes to find out about your entire background and gives you sound advice around your medical needs. I highly recommend anyone looking for a great acupuncturist to come see Dr. Zeng. She is wonderful and I can not say more about how great she is.

Dr. Zeng and Dr. Liu really know what they’re doing. They’re both super courteous and professional. They always call with a reminder the day before your appointment and are always on time. I’ve referred a lot of my friends to this place and they don’t regret it.

I have so many great things to say about Dr. Liu and Dr. Zeng. I too, selfishly, don’t want the word to get out about how amazingly skilled they are, but I like them too much to not want the best for them and their business!
From personal experience, my husband’s experience, my mother’s experience and the experience of close friends that we referred to the clinic, we’ve seen tremendous results from our time at Honeysuckle. I struggled with intense back pain (injection level), infertility (endometriosis), IBS, anxiety, and headaches. Yep, I’m a mess. But that never deterred them! I’ve been back pain managed for the last two years now and haven’t had an injection since. I’m the proud mama of a beautiful baby girl that we weren’t sure we could have. And I’m in treatment now for my anxiety and postpartum depression. They are so helpful and skilled, I’m so grateful!
My husband has benefited greatly for his anxiety, as well as muscle relaxation after intense sports (olympic triathlon) training.
My mom had a puffy bump develop under her eye that stayed there for a couple years. She also had chronically red eyes. Her visits with other doctors led her to consider plastic surgery to fix her bump, but I begged her to visit the clinic first. Dr. Lui drained some blood from a small prick in her ear and gave her herbs. The next day, it was already half the size! Today, after commitment to the herbs, she doesn’t have any problems with her eyes and her bump has gone away. She can’t believe it.
Our close friends struggling with fertility have also seen tremendous, measurable benefit, as confirmed by testing at a local fertility clinic. Having nothing change but a commitment to acupuncture at Honeysuckle made them believers :).
One important thing to know about acupuncture, no matter where you go, is that it takes dedication and patience. It’s not an immediate fix, and it takes your own dedication to relaxation while in treatment to really allow it to be effective in your body. If you are really looking for help, make sure you go to acupuncture very regularly, and if they prescribe herbs that you take them as well. That’s when you will really see the results. I can’t say more about the incredible level of trust I have in Drs. Liu and Zeng, and I hope they are helpful to you too!

I don’t often leave reviews unless I feel strongly about it. In this case I feel Dr. Liu deserves one, although it is almost a year late. I went to Dr. Liu to treat my «sick» stomach, and chronic pain in the neck, shoulders, and upper back last year. Dr. Liu was so friendly and caring. He really listened to my problem and tried hard to make me feel better. I truly appreciate his genuine care.

Dr. Zeng is super knowledgeable, sweet and helpful. She will not try to push you to buy herbs or medicine from her unless you absolutely need it, and she will give you tips on how to make your condition better without taking pills so you can get healthier by having a healthier lifestyle.
I’ve been having back pain and joint pain for years, and during my few treatment with her my back pain has been reduced by 50%. I will continue to seek treatment from her clinic and I highly recommend anyone with pain and other issues to come to this clinic for treatment.

Thank you Dr. Zeng!!! I went to Dr Zeng the last week of my pregnancy. I was extremely uncomfortable and having so many Braxton hicks contractions. Dr Zeng helped me relax, and helped with some pregnancy symptoms. I was having traumatic dreams, and they went away after the first session. She told me she would help me relax and thus if my body was ready, I could go into labor with in a few days… It happened! My next appointment was two days later and I was in labor. I went any ways and it was great! The next morning I gave birth to a beautiful healthy baby girl! The delivery was wonderful and I can assume that I was relaxed going into it, so that helped!
Can’t wait to see Dr Zeng again!

Dr. Liu Is amazing! I went from having back pain (SI Joint) 100% of the time down to 2% after my first visit. If you are suffering from pain, I highly recommend this practice.

I highly recommend Dr. Liu. He has helped me for the past 4 years with symptoms of Rheumatoid Arthritis, an autoimmune disorder.

Zheng Zeng knows what she is doing. She has a lot of experience and I have found her to be more effective than less experienced Chinese doctors I have seen in the past. I have been getting acupuncture and taking herbs based on her prescription for the last 3 months and have noticed a big improvement in my digestion and well being. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Liu has been such a gift to me and my wife. We have western medicine doctors in our family but after searching for answers that they couldn’t help us find, Dr. Liu’s treatment has been amazing. He is very intelligent, thoughtful and truly wants to help his patience.
My wife has slipped disks in her back and pain throughout her body because of it. Dr. Liu has helped significantly release the pain. I am very type A and have anxiety, I also have a few sports related injuries he has been amazing in helping me recover and relax.

Dr. Zheng Zen (Jen Jen) is amazing. I suffered from heavy periods, fibroids, and extreme stress and after researching for a while decided to make an appt. with Dr. Zhen.
My first appointment was over a year ago, the first consultation was almost two hours, Dr. Zhen goes into detail about your medical history and speaks to you with regards to all of your problems and she explains what her treatment plan will be, she is wonderful and extremely knowledgeable.
My treatment has been great and it has helped me greatly with managing my out of controlled stress and during my treatment I became pregnant and stopped going to her (BIG MISTAKE) I had a miscarriage at 10 weeks. After a few months I decided to schedule an appt. with Dr. Zhen and discussed with her that me and my husband had been trying to get pregnant for several months but it wasn’t happening,
This was when I discovered her AWESOME SKILLS in TREATING INFERTILITY When trying to get pregnant, I found out that I had a problem with ovulation as it was happening to late in my cycle and close to the start of my period and this was a problem for implantation to occur. She explained to me that fertility was one of her specialties and I started treatments right away. She was very thorough and worked with me on changing my diet and coming in for appointments at certain parts of my cycle. Within 2 months I was pregnant without any complications. I have been seeing her every week since I found out I became pregnant and she has even helped me with managing my all day nausea. I am now 13 weeks pregnant and I truly believe she was instrumental in helping me achieve and maintain a healthy pregnancy. I plan on continuing to to see her monthly to continue with my stress management.
Dr. Zheng Zeng is very kind and gentle and truly cares about her patients, she is so friendly and knowledgeable. Her office is definitely my happy relaxation place I would go every day if I could!

I recently got diagnosed with Bell’s Palsy and the doctors gave me an estimated recovery time of 6 — 8 months. I talked with Dr. Liu at Honeysuckle Acupuncture and he not only new exactly what to do but helped we with every aspect of the recovery process. After 3 weeks of treatment I have over 80% movement back in my face. I owe everything to them. They truly are healers.

I wanna say they suck and dont ever go to this place so they remain relatively unknown and they stay small and it remains easy to get appts, but that would be dishonest… LOL Great service, professional, and seems to work too.
My only complaint is I would like a more Asian feel to the place, its way tooo business-y…LOL

I get chronic migraines — bad ones that last for days! Today I was on day 3 of a migraine that I’d rate an 8 out of 10 on the pain scale. I did a google search for «acupuncture migraines Austin» and came across the positive reviews on Unilocal for Honeysuckle Acupuncture and knew I had to give them a try immediately. I left a message before they opened and got a call back an hour and a half later and an appointment scheduled for 11:30 that morning.
All I can say is THANK GOD for Dr. Liu!!! He spent 2 hours with me, and in addition to doing acupuncture he also did massage and acupressure on my scalp, face, neck, and back, as well as cupping on my back and neck and he even pricked one of my fingers to squeeze blood out of it to «release stress» which sounds really crazy but I could actually feel it working!!!
I feel like a human being again instead of someone who had been asking everyone I came in contact with to please shoot me in the face because I was in so much pain!!!
If anything, my migraine is now a 1 out of 10. I’ve been to a lot of acupuncturists in several cities including San Francisco, and I think this was the best experience I’ve ever had. I am so relieved to know I no longer have to suffer like I had been.

Dr. Zeng is amazing. I suffered from irregular periods, back pain, stress and came to see her when I hurt my ankle and had an upcoming trip to Europe. Dr. Zeng took so much time to talk to me and explain things to me. My ankle has improved 100% since seeing her and after my first treatment for my PCOS, my period came the next week after being gone for almost 90 days. Maybe it was coincidence but I doubt it.
The only issue I have is that on a Saturday the Party Rental store next door is very busy and their loud speaker in the back of the building can interrupt your «zen» time, but it isn’t constant. My appointments Monday — Thursday are very quiet and tranquil. Honestly though, the loud speaker next door isn’t a huge deal, since Dr. Zeng knows what she’s doing.

Dr Liu has really helped me overcome the pain of a recent car accident. I started going right after the accident and the treatments had a profound effect on my pain level. The herbs he prescribed keep me at a tolerable pain level between treatments and I am sure that I healed faster and with much less pain because of the care I received. I continue to go on a monthly basis to strengthen my body constitution and help with stress. The office is efficient with no waiting and very tranquil. I really appreciate all the different techniques Dr. Liu uses to help with whatever I have going on. Great place and great people! I absolutely recommend them.

I met Dr. Liu (Le-​o) a couple of years ago when a bulging disk resulted in muscle spasms and crippling leg pain. A co-​worker suggested I give acupuncture a try — after all, what did I have to lose?
At the time, Dr. Liu was still located at AOMA (he remains on faculty there). I hobbled in, filled out an extensive questionnaire regarding both my mental and physical health. After one hour with Dr. Liu, I was able to stand up straight and walk more normally (and without pain) than I had in days. It was amazing.
These days I see him for tweaks and more maintenance type issues (stress headaches, tightness in my low back), but he is definitely on speed dial should my back issues kick into high gear again.
