Established in 2007 Ken Peters, the owner, has been building custom homes and doing home remodels for the past ten years. Over time he continued to see homeowner’s that needed additional work outside his normal service offerings and this prompted him to create Handyman of Austin. Ken has put together a team of expert craftsmen and handymen to help Austin homeowners complete those difficult home improvement projects.

Fantastic work on my rent house. Very impressed with Kens work on my base board repairs and painting. Pays by the hour but works QUICK. I will definitely call again in the future.

I’m really sad to write this. I’ve used this company twice with great results. Turns out I was using Ken Peter’s only quality worker. My friend used another person from this company and did not have a good experience. I agreed to use a different person (also different from my friend) and the guy did not show up and did not call. I also had to email Ken three times in order to get someone scheduled with an actual time. I called Ken when the person was 40 mins late and Ken said he was unable to reach the person that was assigned to my job. I waited until 6:00 on a Friday night and Ken did not call with another update. I sincerely hope this person was not injured or in some way unable to perform his job. Some sort of notification would have been appreciated. Now, I have moved everything out of my closet and I have no one to help me build the closet. Truly disappointed in the unreliablility of this provider.
