Just recently moved to Austin and needed to find a new stylist. I booked an apt with Jamie for cut and color. She did exactly what I asked and for an amazing price! She’s super friendly and a true southern bell. This is my second time back and she’s def my new stylist!

I get my hair done by Kate. She does teh cut AND color. I do normal highlight on top and fire engine red underneath so it obviously take a some time to get it all done but she is happy to do it all. She’s funny and is always able to get me in within a few weeks.

Okay so I’ve been going to Heather McLaughlin for years now, and I’ve had my hair cut at every length and dyed pretty much every color. I have never been disappointed with Heather, she’s great and reliable, and a total sweetheart! A MAJOR plus, she will not give you a haircut that doesn’t work with your face shape/​hair texture/​etc– If you need a change, please visit her, you defiantly won’t regret it! I still adore each and every haircut, even just a trim!

When I first moved to Austin a couple years ago I didn’t have any place to get my hair cut. One of my friends lived in North Austin and recommended Kate at the Hair Shack. I have cheated on her only once (I was out of town!)
The Hair Shack sounds more cutting edge than it really is. Lots of little old ladies getting their hair coiffed, a strange place to find someone like Kate, who also does Roller Derby.
She gives a great cut every time and for only $ 15 (for men) it’s a real deal. If you forget cash there’s a Randal’s next door.

I went to the Hair Shack to see Kate. She turned my dyed black hair red without the damage that can occur when stripping hair. And, she didn’t break the bank.

I first went there a couple of months ago because a friend reffered me to Kate. I thought she was just awesome. She’s very easy to talk to and gave me exactly what I wanted. I will see her again next week and I can’t wait!

Kate does my hair at the Hair Shack. She is super awesome. She listens to you and gives advice on what she thinks will work for you. Her highlights look really natural. Her prices are great too.
