Hacienda Plastering and Fine Finishes

Rick talks a good game and really seemed to know the business but he was unable to provide me with a single customer reference. I should have known then. He made lots of promises but then always tried to blame me when he didn’t make his commitments or even show up. At one point tried to charge me for materials not used but I had proof, so he had to take it off the price. I went with them because they committed to helping me «re-​start» the pool after it was resurfaced as I would be traveling right after and had not hired a new pool maintenance service.
With Rick it was always «No problem! We’ll handle all that for you.» A new resurfacing requires a lot of brushing and chemical maintenance. They only showed up once and did not help with the chemicals as promised. I hired a new pool maintenance team the week after and they followed the manufacturer’s guidelines for restarting the pool but it was too late. Now it’s a disaster. Look at the pictures I added. The proof is right there. Note that in their photos, the pools are shown unfilled, from a distance or angled in such a way that you can’t see the the real surface very well.
Rick kept promising to fix it but he never showed up when promised and then tried to blame me somehow. It became evident that once he got the final check, he would not be coming back. There are a few really good plasterers out there and if they are good they will have lots of references you can find on other websites. I made a huge mistake and I don’t mind looking like a fool here if it saves at least one other person from making a mistake.
In the end, the pictures I attached tell the story. There is no denying that.
