Friendly guy, Marshall. Installed my new Bluetooth stereo for the best price I could find between other places. I paid $ 225 plus tax for my Honda CR-​V 2009 model. I have yet to figure out about how it works in its entirety but wanted to give a great review because I liked the customer service. Professional, personable, and responsible.

I drive a 2011 kia forte with a factory radio that completely died. I called to see if they could fix it on same day because I’m preparing for a 14 hour car ride.
I went to pick up the radio up myself rather than waiting for shipping. Once I got back to h & h with radio I was in & out in about 10 minutes.
Very understanding & great service. I will be coming back if I ever have electrical issues in the future!

Needed a head unit swapped out. Marshall did it promptly and also installed a Bluetooth mic (which I’d forgotten about when I asked for the quote) and he STILL came in under the amount he quoted me. Next time I need stereo work I’m coming back here.

I asked H&H to install cruise control and a bluetooth stereo system. We actually tried installing 2 different stereo systems, and neither one seemed compatible with my Moto G phone. (I’m 90% sure the problem is with my smartphone, because they were able to work with both systems using an iPhone perfectly. Which is say: the failure is in no way their fault.) Eventually they gave me a hassle-​free refund for the stereo and wired the original radio back up. So I’m a little disillusioned with the state of bluetooth technology, but H&H went above and beyond for me service-​wise.

I’m ecstatic about the way my car turned out. I had speakers and a sub put in my car by another shop last year and the installation was sub-​par. I had a whining noise in the speakers on the left side of my car and my amps were mounted to my subs preventing me from removing them from my trunk if I needed space.
After browsing through reviews on Unilocal I decided to give H&H a try. I made an appointment and showed up to drop my car off in the morning. I went over a list of things that bothered me about my setup. Subs, noise, gain cable routing.
They finished my car much quicker than I expected. As mentioned in many other reviews the work these guys do is quality and the price is great.
I had forgotten what it was like to really love my car. The sound quality is great, I can remove my subs easily, my subwoofer gain is mounted near my volume knob in the perfect spot, and my car my cleaner than when I dropped it off!

It’s rare that you have someone who quotes you a price and gives you a timeline, then your bill ends up substantially lower and done much faster than expected. Thankfully, that’s exactly what happened here.
I couldn’t be more pleased — these guys did exactly what I needed when the dealer refused to do the actual repair that I required and they saved me a lot of money EVEN beyond their original quote. On top of that, the repair is perfect and they communicated regularly during the process.

Called to get my girlfriend’s stereo installed and speakers wired. They did a great job quickly and had all the equipment I needed. They even have current stereos with Bluetooth for Pandora streaming. Nice casual environment and even gave me a ride home! Luckily I was only about a mile away though! Great guys and I’ll be taking my car there too for the alarm!

Marshall was GREAT, helped select a reasonable stereo and speakers for vintage 1992 Nissan 300ZX. Final cost was less than quoted and sounds really good. Installation is very clean, including Bluetooth mic by the rear view mirror.

I think there prices are to high but the service is really nice and wouldn’t mind using there service again.

I want to say Thank You to Marshall at H&H. He did 2 jobs for me — one to repair my old mini-​van when I tried to replace the old factory DVD player with an after market and messed it up. The second is when we bought our new mini-​van and added to head rest DVD monitors and player in the overhead storage, Very economical and super happy with the install. Thank you Marshall!!!

I had them install a backup camera on my 2005 Tacoma. I bought the camera online and took it to them to install. I already installed a video capable stereo so the camera is connected to that as the monitor. They did a great job on the install. Price was reasonable. The guy I dealt with was friendly and listened to what I wanted. I would definitely use them again if I need anything else installed.

H&H is amazing. I have been in 3 different times now, the first being to have a new stereo system + Sirius Xm installed in my vehicle and the next two times for maintenance. Marshall is extremely personable and knowledgable as well as FAST… The value you get at H&H is unlike any other I’ve found in Austin.
The two times I came in for maintenance, Marshall fixed my problems free of charge and made me laugh and smile while doing it! Highly recommend this place all around and especially Marshall!

Good experience! My auxiliary input stopped functioning a few months ago, and I took it to Honda initially. They mistakenly checked the accessory input (the port used to charge devices), and the work I needed did not get done. I tried to take it to Honda again, and after 2.5 hours of waiting, they were too busy to get to it. They said it wouldn’t be until later that afternoon around 4 p.m. It was about 10:45 a.m. at the time of this estimate. Additionally, the estimated cost was about $ 125.
So, I set out to find another option. I had seen good ratings for H&H, so I decided to try them out. The guys are friendly people, a bit more casual than what I’m used to, but polite. I was in and out in about 45 minutes and paid less than what Honda was going to charge. I recommend them.

I took my car here to see if they could fix my radio. Autonation Toyota told me it was broken and a new one would be 1200, or a rebuilt one for 399. I did believe it was some electrical or wiring problem.
When I returned for my car I was elated to learn they checked it out and found it worked, put it back in, and only charged the 40 diagnostic fee!
Knowledgeable, integrity, and honesty! So glad to find this still exists somewhere.

I bought my 2011 Ford Flex over a year ago. When I picked it out I thought it had Sirius Satellite Radio as the button was on the center stack.
Later that night I tried to activate the radio with the Sirius operator on the phone and through trying to get the Electronic Serial Number we found that the Sirius Module was not in the vehicle.
I called my Ford salesman and he told me he ordered my Flex as a Sirius ready vehicle and that Sirius Module could be added.
I found H&H Radio Specialist on Unilocal.I liked the reviews. I could install the unit myself but I could not find instruction specific to installation for a Ford Flex. Even Crutchfield did not sell a factory Sirius module with instructions for a Flex.
I arrived at H&H Radio Specialist at 9:10am and was done at 10:15am. My concern was care of the vehicle while the work was done, door dings, left over screws, etc.
Marshall was very careful with the vehicle. He cleared the area for it and backed it in to the shop. I was put at ease right away. This is much better that some technician in a hurry and wired on Red Bull.
The installation was great all of the factory controls work as planned by the factory with the factory controls. My Ford Sync system works just fine after the work was done. The antenna base from the factory already has the Sirius Satellite Node built in so no need for an additional Satellite Node.
These guys are friendly, smart, careful and understand electronics.
I have found a Car Audio Electronics Technician that meets my standards.

Support your local business guys :). H&H did a great job with my stereo, my car got broken into and they messed up my stereo. The guys at H&H order the parts and then order a new radio the next day, the whole process took 3 days, including ordering a new stereo. Good guys, good prices and good service. Thanks H&H.

THE place to go for any car stereo work in Austin. Marshall swapped out head units into my truck and did quality work. My previous installer put in a wobbly head unit with wires not properly tucked away. Marshall knew what he was doing and he put care into his work. The job was cleanly installed and done in less than 2 hours with a very reasonable price (much less than Best Buy and Fry’s). Very friendly staff with a laid back shop. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

SHORT VERSION: I left satisfied and with what I had come to them for. I support local business and would definitely use their services again in the future.
LONG VERSION: I am a long time Sirius subscriber. Because of that, I have a Grandpappy plug and play model (a Stratus) that can move from the vehicle dock to a home stereo. The unit stopped playing in the car but still played in the home dock. If figured this meant a wire in the car must be loose and went to H & H to see if I could get it to working again.
They replaced all the connections but it still wouldn’t play. They went into troubleshooting mode. They had their own plug and play unit (different model) and it played perfectly in my car, likewise my unit played just fine in their dock. For some reason my unit, and only my unit, wouldn’t play in my car. Now, they could have been at it all day trying to deduce how and why. But I came in to have satellite radio jamming in my car again (I hate commercials, don’t you?).
Marshall came up with the ideal solution. He still had an original Stratus in his inventory. We simply replaced the unit all together. It works in the car and it works at home. Problem solved. He gave me a fair price and I left satisfied and with what I had come to them for.
