History

Established in 2009.

If we didn’t have to work for a living, we’d spend all our time outside enjoying all the natural beauty Central Texas has to offer. The principals of GreenTex Builders are UT fanatics and avid outdoorsmen, and relish every opportunity we have to enjoy Austin’s lakes, springs, green spaces, and rugged Hill Country terrain. Our passion for helping people enjoy their living and work environments in a way that doesn’t jeopardize the ability of their kids and grandkids to do the same is the guiding principle by which we operate. This principle is backed up by a conscientious, systematic approach to construction rooted in both ancient and cutting-​edge «green» technologies. By working closely with our clients, carefully listening to their ideas and preferences, we are able to implement the various tools available for sustainable living as components of a whole-​building strategy. We believe this holistic approach allows us to create a superior structure that will be enjoyed for generations.

Cory M.

Business Owner

Cory is a native of Houston and a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. With a professional background in real estate and New Home Construction, Cory’s areas of expertise include property transactions, project management, residential and commercial remodeling, and custom home development. At GreenTex Builders, Cory’s responsibilities include business development, client relations, and quality control. Complete client satisfaction is his top priority.

A lifelong sports and nature enthusiast, Cory loves mountain biking, kayaking, and wake-​boarding. He lives in Central Austin with his wife Katy, a local realtor, and their baby girl, Lily. Cory is passionate about sustainable building and really sees it as more of a calling than a job. He strives to realize this vocation through GreenTex Builders.
