History

Established in 1998.

I first created GOALSMITHS as a small business consulting firm, though a lot of what I was doing was coaching. Slowly moved into the practice of coaching.

As I took more classes in the field of personal and Strategic Coaching, clinical hypnotherapy, NLP, etc. I moved my office from south Austin to Westlake.

In 2011 I moved to my current office on Balcones Drive. I now share the suite of offices with several psychotherapists and counselors.

This was a great move for me. I can share information on new therapies as well as techniques. Always learning and keeping up with what new modalities would work best for GOALSMITHS’ clients.

As a speaker on drug and alcohol related issues for the Los Angeles Board of Education I worked with youth as well as adults, 4^th grade through college levels. I set up discussion groups at schools. The work was very important and very powerful.

I was studying psychology at college when I became very interested in alternative therapies.

«Why would talking about a problem solve it? Wouldn’t it make it worse or keep the issue from fading? «These were some of my questions. I dropped out and studied alternative therapies.

I became an Advanced Psychological Kinesiology (Psych-​K) Facilitator and took Strategic Coaching with world renowned psychologist Cloe Madanes.

Both modalities became keys to client breakthroughs and successes. Third Key? Clinical Hypnotherapy. I’m certified by the American Council of Hypnotist Examiners.

I’ve had more than several psychiatrists and therapists as clients. Reacting to the sessions they say, «this works really fast!»
