Description

Specialties

Welcome to the Foxhole! Our goal is to create an inviting place to share great food and great moments with family and friends. Our wood-fired grill is an integral part of our Texas-inspired American cuisine, adding bold flavors to every dish.

Foxhole Culinary Tavern believes in quality and community. Our seasonal menus are prepared largely with fresh farm to table products from local vendors, and each dish is prepared from scratch, whether it’s kneading dough for our fresh-baked flatbreads or curing our own bacon. Our bar has a wide variety of craft beers from all over the country including the best local brews that Austin has to offer. Foxhole also boasts a great selection of specialty cocktails including classic libations as well as exclusive Foxhole creations. For those who like their drinks off the vine, we have hand-picked a first-rate collection of wines by the bottle or by the glass.

Whether it’s lunch, happy hour, a celebration or an intimate dinner, Foxhole Culinary Tavern can’t wait to be your local destination for a truly unique experience.

History

Established in 2014.

Foxhole Culinary Tavern opened its doors in 2014 to serve north Austin natives. Our mission is to bring the community closer with great dishes and specialty drinks in a laid-back atmosphere. We’re glad to be a part of the neighborhood and look forward to making Austin proud for the years ahead.

Business Owner

Local Austin restaurateurs, brothers Trey and Ryan Wolslager, are the owners of Foxhole Culinary Tavern. Best known for their brainchild J. Blacks on West Sixth, they are taking the same social atmosphere to north Austin to provide a gathering place for locals to unwind with a cold craft beer and creative dishes. They love adding to the local flavor and look forward to many great memories to come.
