History

Established in 2015.

Stemming from a side-​hobby and love of art, designer Claire Thompson officially began Flower and Vine after a gradual increase in art sales over the preceeding years. As a child, Claire loved painting as she spent time with her siblings and architect father, finding a joy in creativity and freedom. During a semester studying in France, Claire studied in the home town of French Impressionist Paul Cezane, and saw a re-​birth of her love of painting. Through custom wedding invitations, floral gifts, and custom paintings, Claire’s interest art continued to grow into its current business of Flower and Vine. Her current projects focus on custom paintings of architecture, wedding invitations, and gifts, but also extend to note cards, calendars, and other paper products.

Claire has always loved art – growing up it was an opportunity to spend time with her siblings and architect father. As a side hobby throughout her high school, college and post-​college years, Claire eventually decided to take a step towards her growing love of art to start Flower and Vine. Now, Flower and Vine is actively creating watercolor and oil paintings, prints, and designs for customers around the country.
