First Option believes in making the mortgage transaction as easy as possible. We know that financing a home can be stressful so we try to take the stress out. One of the ways we do this is by asking for all the information upfront. We will need the 2 previous W-2 and tax returns. Most recent 2 pay stubs, unless you are self employed. The previous two bank statements and any other important information that you think we will need. A great example of that would be a divorce decree or bankruptcy papers. Business Owner
In 1994, Jack began his career in the mortgage business in Austin, Texas working for a small mortgage banker, American Builders Mortgage. During Jack’s 7 years with American Builders Mortgage, he worked to grow the business and was quickly promoted to Vice President of Wholesale Mortgage Lending. In 2001, Jack started his own mortgage brokerage company, First Option Financial Services that grew to over 100 employees. In November of 2010, Jack partenered with AmCap Mortgage, Ltd. The advantages of partenering with a private mortgage banker ultimately comes down to one very critical component, being in control of the client’s file. At AmCap, our underwriters, processors and closers are all on staff and in the same office. Jack has established relationships with many of the area’s top real estate agents, even considering all of them his own personal clients. He has helped Texas homebuyers and owners find the best mortgage rates available.
