I can’t say enough about Halo, but I’ll start by saying that I drive in from San Antonio just to see Rebekah Ryan. This great little salon has a welcoming atmosphere, perfect location, fantastic staff, and I always leave feeling fabulous.

Rebekah Ryan at Halo is an awesome stylist. I have followed Rebekah over the years to a couple of different salons, and I love her new location at Halo on S. 1st — easy to reach from my office downtown, but with a great South Austin laid-​back vibe in a beautiful vintage bungalow. I trust Rebekah to cut my hair SHORT, and there are VERY few stylists I would trust to give me a sassy short ‘do. She’s awesome with color too, and she even held my hand through the transition from hair color to naturally fabulous platinum. Run, don’t walk, to Halo and see Rebekah!
