nice guys. i think for clean and press it’s 2 $ for button-up shirts and 3 $ for pants, and they do a fine job at it. if you get there early they’ll probably get your stuff done by the following day. there’s a drive-thru window to pickup stuff too.

I really wanted to like this place because it’s a neighborhood spot, and the people there are really nice. Unfortunately the cleaning they did for me was terrible. I got a shirt cleaned there and it came out with a large stain from their press. I took it back 3 times and each time, while they mostly got out the stain they put in the previous time, there were new stains on it. Finally they had pressed it so much that the stains they put in aren’t coming out. Huge mistake going there.

I hate to diss a local spot, especially when the guys in there are friendly. I brought in a brand new bridesmaid’s dress to be hemmed because it was too long. They did an awesome job with the alteration… after coming in twice and it wasn’t ready when they’d told me. They stuck giant safety pins through the bodice of this strapless dress when there was a specific strap and loop inside the dress to be able to hang it. Then I get home and the chiffon layer at the bottom is incredibly stained with small grease stains and another bigger liquid stain. I brought it back explaining I had noticed a bunch of stains. They cleaned them for me and charged me full price. I know these stains did not come from me transporting the dress to my place but even if they had, they didn’t fully wrap the dress up to protect it. I ended up paying twice as much for their mistake and feeling horrible about pouring even more money into a dress I haven’t worn yet.

Having moved to the neighborhood last year, we thought we’d support a local, family-owned business by taking our dry cleaning around the corner instead of across the city to our previous dry cleaners. A good impulse, perhaps, but after our first experience, we won’t be returning. Pros: inexpensive; convenient location to our house; friendly people. Cons: careless lack of attention to detail; damaged our clothing. * The tags used to ID our stuff were stapled to the garments. The points of the staples went directly through the fabric of our button-down shirts on the lower hem, and directly through the tags on my sweaters. Other dry cleaners carefully loop the paper tags through a buttonhole or around the tag and staple the paper to itself, which makes them easy to remove without damaging the garment. * One of my husband’s shirts had several spots about the size of a dime where plastic had been melted into the fabric. * The excessively high heat they used to press the shirts left the fabric shiny in many places, like the cuffs and collars. There are imprints of the buttons on the reverse side of the cuffs, and obvious outlines of the care tags. On one of my thinner cotton shirts, the fabric on the sleeves and the breast pocket had nearly fused to itself such that it had to be carefully peeled apart. It made a sound like faint Velcro as the layers separated. The search resumes for a competent local dry cleaner.

I take my suits and sports coats here. I like these guys. Today I forgot to pick up my dry cleaning before they closed — about an hour late. But they were in the store and let me come by to get it. It was pretty clutch.

We are so lucky to have this local business on the East Side still. If you’re ever in a pinch and need dry cleaning done the same day, these guys get it done in a couple of hours and the price is right. I see the comments about specialty items, but i’ve never had any issues. I’ve really only taken my suits and button up dress shirts for pressing.

This place is a joke! If you are getting your leather items(jacket, purse, etc) cleaned here BEWARNED! I took my leather jacket and white Italian leather purse to have them cleaned here. I asked them if they do clean leathers professionally(not with water or something like that) they assured me they do and not to worry. I trusted their words and gave my stuff. I went to pick it up on the day I was told to do so, they told me it was not ready(so unprofessional), I asked when it’ll be and they gave me a different date, I went back on that date they told me it’s still not ready for pickup! I went back for the third time, this time only one item was ready! I was shocked to find my purse with a totally different texture– rough/hard texture(originally it was a very soft-textured leather) and not only that. the tassel was also torn off the purse. I had to drive back after realizing that the tassel was missing and the metal part that attaches the tassel to the purse was broken and was replaced with a funny wire!(I believe they threw the whole purse in some sort of machine because when I asked the guy where the tassel is he said«It must be stuck in the machine and I have take some parts out to check to see if it’s there, and I don’t want to do it now but I’ll do it tomorrow».I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. And the jacket they said they cleaned was still dirty when I finally got it back and I honestly don’t think that they touched it at all! I tried talking to the owner but he was very rude and he told me to take my stuff and never come back. I don’t know how this place survived this long because they have no clue about customer service and they are there to ruin your stuff! Do not trust this place with your items especially with your leather items, you will be disappointed!

Now that I’ve slammed the east side’s post office, I feel like I need to point out some of the better, local businesses we are lucky to have. I’ve taken several articles of clothing here and(luckily maybe?) had no problem with any clothes I’ve received back. All I can say is the price is right, service is great and it’s right around the corner. How can I not be a fan?

1 out of 5 sums it up. I dropped off 5 articles of clothing and was returned one in wearable condition and one that found it’s way into the garbage can. The three pairs of slacks were scorch-starched to the point that they could stand on their own and were left with a sheen and permanent creases that were not quite on center. The shirt that I tossed out — among my favorite white shirts — had a red label on the back of the neck that bled through the shirt, even getting on other clothing. In conclusion, this factory pays no attention to details and you’d be better off cleaning your clothes on the edge of Town Lake using a rock.
