History

Established in 2001.

After a 9-​year career as a marketing director for an Austin-​based technology company, David Smith chose to pursue his life-​long dream of starting a design agency. As marketing director, he had been the client of many agencies over the years and saw lots of things he liked and didn’t like about their processes. Along with his degree in marketing, he felt this experience would provide a unique foundation for creating an agency from the true client’s perspective.

More than decade years later, his idea for creating a «different» kind of creative agency has been met with huge success. Envision Creative Group has evolved into a full-​service powerhouse, with experts in the fields of marketing, design, and website development. The Envision team — or Envisionaries, has helped hundreds of companies expand their marketing vision and target new markets with a «no-​ego» approach to creative design and business strategy.

David brings more than 20 years of experience in the areas of brand and identity marketing, promotional planning, advertising, and graphic design for both print and web-​based media. In the past he has served in marketing and print advertising roles in companies such as IBM, FIData and Sun Harvest Farms.
