One of the best beer selections on this side of town. My go-to beer purveyor during the week. The cost you pay for the fantastic selection is 1 – 2 dollars extra when compared to HEB or Central Market. Zero complaints and the owner and employees have always been exceedingly friendly. Love my beer store.

Beware of buying cigarettes in this store. Every time it is a vastly different price. Most stores sell Marlboro for about 5.70 or so. I just got charged 7.70 and was told that all the prices listed underneath the cigarettes were for all but my cigarettes. Last week they were 5.90 and the week before they were 6.20. They charge whatever they want whenever they want. Liars and thieves. Will never go back.

Well… I went in here solely with the intent of getting Chicken Lollypop, however as I waited in the store I strolled around & was BLOWNAWAY @ the beer/ale/lager and wine selection! Like, seriously. I don’t even drink beer, but the big ass selection had me takin pictures like whoa! Impressed. Definitely a go-to spot if you’re in the area. **There is NOBBQ joint here. I never knew there was one until I read these reviews before me. It’s a gas station w an Indian-Chinese fusion kitchen. It’s called Chicken Lollypop, look it up separately.** They definitely are a beer/wine/smokes kinda place. Tons of smokes, cigars, wraps & in every damn flavor. Vapes, oil, t-shirts, and all the regular convenience store items. The lady @ the counter was fine. She seemed surprised at how friendly I was to her! Is it a sketchy part of town, eh. but it’s East Braker & that area has gotten worn down a bit. It’s further down Braker, so not at the corner, but it’s not bad.

My friend lives near this establishment. I’ve gone here several times to buy drinks or cigarettes or munchies. There’s always some kind of vagrants or other low-lifes loafing around outside. Inside they sell drug paraphernalia and normal convenient store items at an extreme markup price. I agree with a previous reviewer, «El V,», these people are shady about charging your credit card here. They always run my card as credit, without the option for debit. On two occasions I was charged more than the total of the products I purchased. On one visit, and my final, I was scolded by the clerk for paying for my cigarettes with my debit card. He said, «If you don’t start using cash for these, I’m going to have to raise the price.» Don’t even get me started on the clerk. These people have never heard the term«Customer Service» in their life. The clerk does not greet customers as they walk in the door. Clerk does not acknowledge customers at checkout counter. Clerk maintains conversations in another language on a Bluetooth device while ringing up customers. Clerk does not give the total amount due for purchases, but instead holds out hand for payment method like a child. Also, what the hell is «Chicken Lollypop»? I’m pretty sure this place is a drug front for money laundering.

This place has some of the normal things and then a crazy mix of trinkets and things you can buy. I am surprised every time I come here. Also there is a BBQ place hidden inside that I hear is pretty alright, have not tried yet myself.

Beware if paying with credit card! Make certain your total is correct before handing over any credit cards!!! Sold me the wrong pack of cigarettes despite my specifically asking for the variety that was on sale with a low price in large print directly behind the clerk. Female clerk did not speak clearly when telling me the total and refused to refund or exchange after I had paid. When I inquired for a refund, and mind you this was within seconds of her running the card, she just shrugged and said«what can I do?». Well I’ll tell you what you can do lady, you can learn to refund same as you learned to charge my card, it’s not difficult and there was nobody in line behind me waiting so time was not an issue. (OK enough moaning about my smokes) Good beer selection with some local brews as well as national brands. Recently added a BBQ vendor inside and they also sell breakfast. Will update review when I have tried more the menu but so far the food has been quite good. FYI if dining at the mexican place across the street do NOT park in this parking lot, they WILL tow you every time!

I live around the corner from East Braker Lane Food Mart and I there all the time. Forgot a can of diced tomatoes at HEB? Stop by East Braker Lane Food Mart. Wanting some chocolate milk just because it sounds good? Stop by East Braker Lane Food Mart. Husband wants a special beer but doesn’t feel like driving to Spec’s? Stop by East Braker Lane Food Mart. The staff is always friendly, the owner is there half the time, and they’ve always spoken to me in English(I’m wondering if Cody G. reviewed the wrong store since the staff I see here regularly don’t seem to speak Spanish either). The owner is a really nice guy and always makes sure they have what I’m looking for. He’s ordered beers just on our request before. We love this place.

Recently bought some burritos from their fridge area near the back of the store. Appears that was a terrible choice. Not only had the burrito gone WAY past its expiration date, but it had an absolute foul oder coming from the package when opened. Needless to say this was not eaten. I could set that aside, and go back… but surprise! THE same thing happens once again with a different selection of frozen food item. Not to mention that every time I’m told my total at this store, it’s in spanish, and it’s fairly obvious I don’t speak spanish. Bottom line is avoid this store.

I love love love this store too! They have a fairly large beer and wine selection for being such a little neighborhood store. The guys are really nice that work there. They just expanded so we should have even more junk food when we need it. Great neighborhood store.

I have a friend that lives around the corner from this store. So, I stop by there to pick up beer and other goodies before visiting. They have a great Beer and Wine selection. The guys who work there are always super nice, and offer up spot on suggestions. Also, they have all the usual Convenience Store items, and at good prices. This store is definitely the best in the area. I wish I had a store like this in the 78723.
