EZ Stop is a great place to stop for craft beers from all over the US. The staff are knowledgeable and always willing to help. If you don’t see what you are looking for on the shelf or in the cooler let them know. They will do their best to get it for you.

I almost don’t want to write this review because it’s like my little secret, this place. Well, it’s like the East side’s little secret. And a whole lot of people know about it, so it’s not really a secret. I’ll just keep pretending. At first glance, this place just looks like a regular ol’ convenience store, so for a while I just totally avoided it. I regularly get gas from here, but never walked inside because I know what convenience stores look like. Until my boyfriend dropped a knowledge bomb on me. He stopped by here once and then shared that this place has a crazy beer selection. Um, what? Is this like Sunrise Mini Mart? Yeah, pretty much. Their selection is not as large, because they have a smaller space, but they are getting some quality brews in here and it’s just down the street from my house! My heart will always belong to WhichCraft… but I no longer live down South. And WhichCraft closes at 9 on weekdays — I get off work at 8:30. That just ain’t happening. E-Z Stop Grocery, though, I can do that. They’re open, they’re well stocked, and I have picked up some seriously quality stuff from here.(I’m not telling you what, though, because that means more competition for me and a girl needs her limited release beer.) Prices are totally on par with any other store, too, which is also important. Nobody wants to be price gouged like at some local stores.(*cough*FlagstoreinHydePark*cough*) OH. And they don’t hoard the limited release beers, either. They’ve also ordered stuff for me when I’ve asked, which is super awesome.(It was stuff they already had, but I’m dumb and didn’t buy it when I had the chance and they were nice enough to order it for me again.) The guys working the register are always friendly and I’m pretty sure they definitely recognize me and my boyfriend by now.(We drink a lot of beer and we love to try new stuff.) As far as other stuff goes, they also have a good selection of snacks and drinks, including kombucha and other local favorites. There’s also a little grill in the back of the store, but I haven’t tried any of their food yet. Sure smells good, though! Thanks for keeping the East side in the beer loop, E-Z Stop. You’re sure keeping this beer-lovin’ girl happy.

Great beer selection! Which, when you consider the location, is even more amazing. Great social media use too. Prices are reasonable.

My girlfriend smokes, and we spend a LOT of money at gas stations! These guys are never nice you can try to strike up a conversation and they won’t even acknowledge us. We won’t be coming here again

I work around the corner from EZ Stop, and had always thought this place was just a gas station/convenience store. Alas, it is so much more! The place is run by a swell South Asian guy –you know they have a culture of hospitality– and he’s dedicated a part of his store to a fantastic grill! They start cooking breakfast tacos and migas made to order at 6a.m., and continue throughout the day with egg rolls, burgers, tacos, chicken, sandwiches, etc. and it’s all super affordable and fast. Not a ton of options for gluten free dieters or vegetarians/vegans, but I was able to pick up cheap lunch for two coworkers that had forgotten to bring theirs as we headed to an offsite meeting. How convenient. ;) The guy gave me a to-go menu that I’ll keep at my desk in case anyone forgets lunch again. The next closest place to eat is at the shopping center by Home Depot off I-35NB at the Cameron/51st Street exit, where parking is ridiculous and the wait is pretty rough when you have a demanding, fast-paced job. Four stars bc of poor marketing, no seating, and it’s a gas station, but it is delicious and made right in front of you.
