Dunn’s Academy of Martial Arts specializes in taekwondo instruction for ages 3 & up. We train based on the Five Tenets of Taekwondo: Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self-​Control, and an Indomitable Spirit.

History

Established in 2013.

Founded by Owner & Instructor Ryan Dunn (Mr. Dunn), Dunn’s Academy of Martial Arts is focused on providing a mixture of traditional and practical taekwondo experience for a more well-​rounded student. Mr. Dunn is a 3^rd degree black belt with over 20 years of martial arts experience.

He strives to strengthen the mental and physical well-​being of his students while providing a safe, positive environment.

Ryan D.

Business Owner

Ryan Dunn (Mr. Dunn) is a native Texan with over 20 years of martial arts experience. He holds a 3^rd degree black belt in Taekwondo, WTF-​style. He began his training at the age of seven under brothers Phillip and Joseph Cha of Tae Kwon Do Kicks in Lakeway, TX. As part of his training, Mr. Dunn helped instruct both younger students and adults until he joined the Navy.

While in the Navy, he trained in various martials arts in South Carolina, New York, and Washington state. It was in Washington where he earned his 1^st degree black belt under Master Kwon at the age of 26. Ryan returned to Texas shortly thereafter, and resumed instructing under his mentor, Joseph Cha, and more recently, Eliabel Fauth of The 4^th Degree Martial Arts before branching out to form Dunn’s Academy of Martial Arts
