Worst attorney every they just take your money

My lawyer in this firm did not even retrieve or review evidence relating to my misdemeanor charge, and only told me about this the day before trial — therefore I had to take the plea. Find a different firm, do not trust them with your future.

Well well well, supposedly businesses can’t pay to have reviews altered or deleted. Why then are there 27 reviews «not currently recommended» and only about 5 are recommended. To make things more obvious the 27 not recommended are the ones extremely critical of this criminal organization. The 5 reviews recommended are all nearly 5 star reviews. BEWARE!!! This firm SUCKS

I just want to thank Attorney Jim Erickson for his help with a federal criminal charge. There were times where I was impatient or insecure with the drawn out process of the legal system but Jim reassured me things would go well. They did of course, with patience and due diligence of a good attorney, and the case was dropped before trial. Thank you for your help!

So…“my friend” needed a lawyer and «my friend» used this law firm. They were so amazing. In less than a month they had the entire case dropped and I was so grateful. …err my friend I mean.
Ok ok… So you got in a little trouble, you get out of jail aaaand then you checked your mail… there are 1.1 million letters for you. Wow! Parties? Wedding? Baby showers. Noooo lawyers are anxiously awaiting your call…
The day I called for information, they met with me immediately and took so much time with me. The girl in the office looks like she’d rather be doing ANYTHING besides helping but you only see her for like 2 seconds in your whole life.
The lawyers are wonderful and caring and they go to all your court dates for you so you can keep living life and focusing on not getting into any more trouble.
Any time I had questions, they’d reassure me everything was going to be fine. I probably talked to 20 law offices before finally deciding with this law firm. I’m sure the other firms could have gotten me the same results but these guys really cared and worked extra speedy for me. It’s weird to call it a great experience but considering the alternative, it was a great experience.

I called Dunham and Jones after a DWI. I had never been in any kind of trouble and was not sure what to do. Mr. Dunham was very nice and said they would walk me through the entire process. It was all down hill after that. I had 3 different attorneys and the one that was at my final court date I had never met before and did not know anything about me or my case. I BLURTED out that I had attended AA since, but that is all he had time for as he spent 20 minutes chit chatting with another attorney. I would suggest getting a personal attorney that will get to know your case and will be with you to the end.

these guys are crooks, they took my money and stopped talking to me after they were paid in full, they said they would get my case dropped then didn’t, then forgot to tell me when my next court date was and i missed court and got a warrant for my arrest, i tried calling them over and over again, emails, no response, then when he did he said he has dropped me as a client and would be keeping my money after only making a few calls and rescheduling my court for 3 yrs with me having to go every month, these people are crooks and i will be doing a peace-​full protest in front of there office, don’t use these guys i promise you.

I gave them 1 star because I can’t give none. They treated me like a fast food patron. They didn’t care about my DUI case at all and did nothing to help me. They wanted my case over as soon as I finished paying them, and just accepted the terms given from the court.
I went with Florencia Rueda for my second DUI, and had the exact opposite experience. Go read my review of her. I’ve never wrote reviews before, and my experience with Florencia inspired me to, and reminded me to put this about Dunham… my experience with them was about 2 years ago. Since then I’ve met 2 other people that went with Dunham, and had the exact same thing to say.

I gave this law firm my life savings.
They kept me out of jail.
I would use them again in a second, but I promised my mom that I wouldn’t get into trouble anymore.
BUT, if I do decide to start collecting misdemeanors, whether it be Class A, B, or C — or even felonies again, you can be damn sure these guys will be on my speed dial (if speed dial even exists anymore).

Giant waste of time. An old employer sued me and I ultimately went to jail over it. When you’ve never been to jail before, a «get out of jail free card» sounds awesome. They say to choose a lawyer on a wall but they don’t have any names, just a list of phone numbers. I made the mistake of calling this BS firm and they did nothing for me. I paid them and they seemed to lose interest in my case and NEVER returned phone calls. I’d have to email them over and over and over again to get any form of communication regarding my case. My employer had ZERO proof I had done anything wrong (I know that now that I have the surveillance) and these people were still too stupid to get the charges dropped! I don’t even think they looked at the evidence or ever appeared in court. What I’m SURE happened was these shady lawyers kept pushing back the date of court, Travis County Municipal Court got sick of dealing with it, and just cut a phoney deal. I ended up having to do deferred prosecution — paid restitution, did 30 hours of community service, and had to take an eight hour class.
Thanks, you were a real big help in further ruining my record. I could have had my case dropped on my own and saved $ 1700 in the process.
If you hire these dopes, you’ll be paying them to constantly reschedule court dates and do absolutely nothing other than make a few phone calls while you get pinned and literally take it up the ass for whatever it is you’re dealing with.

This law firm misrepresented there services, as soon as I had paid my bil they stopped returning my phone calls and seemed to lose all interest in the case. Because my attorney incorrectly filed paperwork I was arrested in front of my neighbors leading to my eviction from my apartment complex. He also would regularly show up 3 or more hours late to court appearances. At the end of it all he told me there was nothing he could do and I should just plead guilty. Bottom line stay far away from this law firm especially James C Erickson, if you can’t afford someone better your probably better off just using a public defender and at least save some money.

DON’T use them! The partners are great, but the associates are absolutely useless. The ones I encountered are cold and disinterested. They treat you like you are just any other idiot that they need to get rid of asap. If you want even the least bit of a lawyer-​client relationship, do not use Dunham and Rogers Attorneys.

Dunham & Rogers is a DWI mill that only wants your money in the end. At the initial consultation they will persuade you that you have a great defense and will fight your case all the way to trial. They somehow fail mention that your DWI case also has bad damning facts making winning harder. As trial date gets closer, they want any any unpaid legal bills now or else they’ll off your bond or have their young rookie lawyer plea you out quickly to a standard probation. If you do your part and pay them in full, then they’ll do whatever they can do to dissuade you from going to trial bringing-​up those bad facts they didn’t tell you about before they took your money and signed the employment contract. And if you refuse any plea deal and urge them to go to trial because that was the deal, then they’ll deploy the young inexperienced attorney to crash and burn at trial. I hear they win a few cases, but only the ones where the police officer died, complete refusals, basically, the one’s a even a court appointed attorney can win.
