If there was a double negative zero, I would use that rating.
If you have auto insurance with DIRECT GENERAL AUTO, I would advise you to DROP it QUICK! A relative was involved in a hit and run collision which totaled his car on January 28, 2016. To this day February 22, 2016 he HAS NOT heard a peep from DIRECT (TAKE YOUR MONEY FRAUD INSURANCE). NO ONE was sent out to assess damages. We took it to Austex on our own to get estimate of damages. Per the TX DEPT OF INSURANCE, (DIRECT FRAUD INSURANCE) should have communicated via U. S. Postal Service within 15 days of claim being filed (WHICH HAS NOT BEEN DONE). Another car cannot be purchased until the dealership has something showing that the original vehicle was totaled. Good luck with that! FAIR WARNING: If you are giving your hard earned money to this SO CALLED INSURANCE COMPANY, why not just give it to a panhandler on the street? DIRECT REPS do not return calls or emails. I’m beginning to think they’re some Nigerian SCAM Artists. Seriously, DIRECT GENERAL AUTO whose CLAIMS OFFICE is in IRVING, TX is a STRAIGHT UP JOKE!!!
