Dine On Demand

My husband and I decided to order delivery last night because our baby is sick, we went onto Unilocal and chose the delivery option to see what restaurants we had to choose from. After picking my husband made the order, it was through Dine On Demand. When he got confirmation at 6:10 there was no estimate of delivery time just «ASAP». An hour and a half later my husband called Dine On Demand and was told that the food was on it’s way. We waited a while longer and I decided to call the restaurant to see if the food had been picked up yet and they said it had just a few minutes before. Finally our food arrived after 2 hours of waiting. I would definitely not recommend this service.

The drivers are awesome!!! Excellent service and I’ve never had a problem with any delivery!!!
Tip: when you order drinks it comes straight out of the drivers pocket, so you want a cheap water? Give your driver a better tip.
These drivers do a lot and don’t get paid by the hour. Their wages comes from the client tips alone. So all the reviews about people being whiney about some delivery, you can all get off your butt and pick up yourselves. Errors happen and people make mistakes. Have some respect for the drivers.

Not sure about the validity of the other reviews but this review is the real deal.

Desperately needed delivery because my garage door broke and cars are trapped inside. Review forthcoming for that repair company once they complete the job tomorrow.
DOD had one of my favorites Curra’s available. Placed order, used discount, received email confirmation and waited. No status updates even though I checked the box for text update.
It was Friday evening, the delivery guy arrived in about an hour, reasonable.
Slightly strange though that the guy offered me a choice of cheap Halloween type candy as dessert before giving me my food, I declined. He then offered free drinks and I was intrigued. Oh wait, Coke, Sprite, water. I said ok water.
Hands me clipboard indicating Additional Tip line and comes back from car with 2 cheapo bottles of water. I add another $ 1 and learn a lesson.
Anyway it worked out with no problem. Got the food I wanted in reasonable time. Delivery charge a bit higher than competition. No delivery updates cost a star.

Terrible customer service and terrible people!!! Never use this service. I ordered food from mai Thai at 7:40pm and called at 9pm and was told they were picking up. Called again at 9:30 and was told the driver was still there. Called Mai thai at 9:35 and told me there was no one there from Dine on Demand!!!

I placed an order at 5:43 PM today. At 7:02 PM when the delivery guy showed up, he brought the wrong order. I called and notified dine on demand about it. They said they would have the delivery guy pick up the wrong order and bring my correct order. The delivery driver came and picked up the incorrect order. When he returned at 7:51 PM, he brought me the EXACT SAME incorrect order!!! Absolute incompetence!
