Hi Diamond Shamrock with Valero receipts, 1990 wants its cashiers back! I had to prepay for my gas because the pump wouldn’t take my card. I got $ 25 in gas and $ 5 cash back because I knew I needed to do laundry later in the week. The women behind the counter all seemed a little spacey, like they weren’t sure what they were doing, but no problem, I thought, though I made a mental note to not come back to a station that wouldn’t take my card on first try. Then I went to pump. I put the pump in my car and started pumping. It stopped at $ 14.46. I kept trying to get it to pump more, as I knew my tank was empty and it usually takes about $ 30 of gas. It wouldn’t work, so I went inside and asked them to turn the pump back on so I could get the rest of my gas. They were BOGGLED! No one understood that I didn’t want a refund. I decided after a few minutes of weird communication that I’d take my refund and get OUT. But then they wouldn’t give me the cash. Forgive me if this sounds crazy, but I don’t really like to do negative transactions on a debit card in a place where they’re completely clueless about how to turn the pump back on and credit it to my already complete transaction. It’s the only way they could figure out to do it, though. Oh, well, I did get my money back, but I definitely won’t stop back here unless it’s an emergency. It seems to have slightly lower prices than other stations nearby.
