I’ve been going to AMY at Deluxe Nails for years! She does incredible job on my toes and nails! I am really thankful for Amy! She is incredibly talented and my services last a long time through tennis and sports and a busy lifestyle! Thank you Amy and Deluxe Nails for helping me look and feel my best with toes and nails!!! This place is also very clean and shows lots of fun movies-sometimes this is my only chance to watch chick flicks! Very fun atmosphere!

So, here it goes! I went in today and got a regular pedicure($ 30.00) OK, fine most places charge that anyways! Well, when I left my tab was $ 48.00 for what? I got a reg. pedi. and eyebrow wax! In my opinion it should be only $ 40.00. Then I was curious and decided to call and ask. They proceed to tell me that an eyebrow was is $ 13.00, could of went next door to the Lash Lounge and got them threaded for $ 15.00 or Lip/Eyebrow for $ 20.00. So lesson learned! OK, then I find out they charge $ 5.00 to remove gel polish! Excuse me! I should’ve asked! My fault!!! I won’t be returning needless to say! I called where I normally go and they don’t charge that extra non-sense!

I have been going here just for plain mani-pedis off and on for several years and it’s been hit-or-miss. You don’t really get to choose who you end up with and the last two times I’ve been here I’ve drawn the short straw. I don’t know the technician’s name because she wasn’t wearing a name tag but she seemed rushed, like she didn’t really want to be there, and did a pretty shabby job. I had one nail that was a tiny bit shorter than all the rest(which were really long), and I asked her to make them all match the shorter one. Well, now they’re ALL really short, and none are the same length. She never pushed my cuticles back ATALL, or cleaned out under my nails. She doesn’t polish all the way to the edges(I think this was the same person that did my toes a couple weeks ago), so that looks tacky too. Don’t think I will be going to this place anymore as it is kind of pricey. I used to think I was treating myself by going here, but not anymore.

Lisa is the best. She has done my nails for 12 years. I followed her to Austin(I drive 80 miles one way). The salon is clean and staff friendly. I highly recommend her if you want nails done well. Her designs are works of art. Her pedicures are good, also. Don’t understand bad reviews seen here. Not my experience at all.

Deluxe isn’t fancy or spa-like, but Ann is amazing. I’ve been going to her for the year and a half that we’ve lived in Austin for eyebrow waxing, organic manicures and pedicures, and she always does a meticulous job. I always feel like I have great-looking nails at a reasonable price. But I do think she is particularly great. The movies are a nice plus. Always something entertaining on to watch while you’re there.

I had(notice past tense as of yesterday) been coming to this place since December every two-three weeks. I had good experiences at first. But last week, I got my normal gel manicure and it looked rushed and sloppy. I had to leave for vacation the next day so I didn’t have time to come back in for a redo. On the 2 Nd day of my vacation(3rd day after gel manicure) three nails had cracked. When I returned, I called and explained and said that I would like them redone and that I didn’t feel like I should pay again. When I came in, she wanted to just«fix» the broken nails. When I explained that I wanted them redone because this 45 dollar manicure usually last 3 weeks and lasted 3 days this time, she promptly began working. Never said BEFORE she started that I would have to pay AGAIN. After they redid the manicure, I went up so I could get change to tip her, he said that I would have to pay for it since it was redone and not fixed. He said he would deduct only 3 dollars!!! I explained that this was ridiculous and that for the high price they charge, I expect the customer service to match what I spend! He said«sorry, you must pay». Not worth the drive, the free drinks or the money to come in again. They lost a loyal customer yesterday. I will be finding a new place for the next one. I was going to book my wedding party here for our nails and left without making an appointment. No thanks. Poor customer service and overpriced. Not worth it.

I’ve been coming here for the past three years as I used to live in the neighborhood. I’ve never had a complaint and just like every nail place they do try to push the upgrades initially you just have to find the right tech. My friend and I use Ann and he does a great pedicure and waxing job. I still drive 20mn to get some waxing done.
