I feel like we should all take a minute to recognize how Dawn H. really knows how to throw an ROTDC! I have been to two of her ROTDC’s and if it’s possible the second one was better than the first. This adventure took us to Infamous Brewing! I had not been to the brewery yet but, I am a huge fan of their beers. Josh hosted a turkey fry the day after Thanksgiving; I know who needs turkey the day after Thanksgiving? Well, we did. Josh was an amazing host and really fried up some of the best turkey that I have ever eaten. I had only had fried turkey for the first time the night before but, it was cold and nothing as flavorful as Josh’s. I of course selected the IPA for my drinking pleasure. Of course, it was nothing far from amazing. We listened to the great band, hung out with friends Dawn knew and that I had made the night before, were stunned by Dawn’s amazing side dishes that she contributed(let me tell you this girl can cook, if you didn’t know) and had enough beers to make us feel the holiday cheer. Well selected time to host an ROTDC Dawn H. and we all love you for it! I couldn’t have asked for a better time hanging with the hostest with the mostest!

Not only do I LOVE their beer, the people that hangout at Infamous are all around good folks. Unlike the typical«trendie, Hipster, check out my waxed mustache and hat» crowd, Infamous attracts a little more laid back type of person and the event was just that, a group of folks having beers, listening to music and not trying to «out do» one another. Dawn H, not only welcomed the Unilocalers that showed up, she provided most of the side dishes. Josh(founder of Infamous) did a great job frying the turkey. His trick is to brine it over night. Great event overall!

Long overdue ROTDC(Review Of The Day Celebration) and Josh was already hosting a Post-Thanksgiving Turkey Fry and Pot Luck so it seemed like the perfect time to squeeze it in before the end of the year! Very glad I did because it was a blast! Didn’t expect a very big Unilocal turnout with so many people being out of town and such, but when it comes to Unilocalers only a few can make it seem like a blowout bash… and there were about 30 other friendly folks as well… some old, some new. All great company! Josh fried a bird, I cooked some sides, Travis played the tunes, and Erica poured the craft beers until we all swooned. Indulge the grub we did, stayed toasty next to the blazing fire pit, laughed, joked, and even played a game. Can’t possibly think of a better way to spend the evening after Turkey Day! So much better than shopping on Black Friday. Thanks to those who showed up. I think it was more than just okay! ;)
